OCWEN loan servicing Unauthorized withdrawl of mortgage repeatedly with untimely return of funds West Palm Beach Florida
I wanted to bring to light the actions of OCWEN Loan Servicing over the last couple months creating great financial hardship on me. On the 15th of January OCWEN incorrectly took out my Mortgage twice. Once for an amount for $100 over my Mortgage. When I called they could not explain it and cancelled the payment however taking 4 days to return the money to my now overdrawn bank account. In addition to that they charged me a $15 wire transfer fee to put them money they wrongfully took back into my account.
Now comes February 1st and OCWEN again deducts my mortgage twice. This time I call infuriated to the call center that is located in India and am assured it will be escalated to Urgent and returned to my account which again has been overdrawn. As of 5 days later I have yet to receive my refund on the unauthorized deduction of my mortgage placing me into another financial hardship that has created other bills to be late or unpaid. I have called a number of times and have yet to be called back.
I dont know what I can do about this issue since I have no control over who posseses my loan since they are regularly sold off. But felt it was necessary to have get this issue out in the open for other unsuspecting mortgage customers. OCWEN is making interest off the unauthorized deductions that they refuse to immediately replace to my account and this I feel is criminal to do this not once but within two weeks of the initial issue.
