Ocwen did ruin my life, (for a period), i have already lost my home, and it was all because of them.. i did fall behind on my mortgage, because of furnace problems in nov., (you know how PA winters are, u NEED a furnace) i worked with them, and entered a payment agreement, at the time the agreement started i was 2000 behind on my mortgage, i paid them 1000 down, and my payments went from 450 a month to 780 month, and were supposed to last 18 months, i was under the assumption that after the 18 months, i would be completely caught up.. i wasnt.. i made every payment, i even over paid most months, and after 18 months i owed MORE than when i was first behind.. they said i owed 6000.. i was stunned.. i wanted to do another payment plan, and they refused, they said that one of my payments had been a few days late and they couldnt enter into another payment agreement with me, they wanted the whole 6000.. well, im a nurse, i was living alone, and i didnt have 6000, so i told that and asked again to have a payment plan, they refused.. and they started foreclosure.. i think they have sold my house, but i have heard nothing from them regarding that.. i tried to get another bank to refinance my mortgage, but no one would because owcen had info on my credit report that has made it impossible for me to get anykind of loan, now my husband and i want to have a family, and because of injuries to him, we are unable and need IVF, and we cant get a loan to have that done, because of ocwen.. they are truely evil.. i hope they get everything they have coming.. how can someone do this to people and have no heart...

I was one of the first "wave" of bad loans that went into default. Ocwen was my loan servicing company and had no intrest in saving my home or working with me. It has been 2 years now since I left my home and after seeing how the Government handled the mortgage crisis, I sometimes am ashamed to even call myself an American some days.
If you want to start a class action lawsuit against Ocwen, I will join you as I really would like to end this type of scam here.

The same has happened to me. Forbearance plans with no end in sight. Bogus fees, i was charge thousands of dollars in attorney fees, when I ask ocwen for proof of these charges was told " we dont have to give you that" . They charge me for a property inspection fee every month 10.50, i said have the inspector leave a note on my door to prove he was there, they said we dont have to do that, but i have to pay it !! I was charged 8 certified mail charges 4.67 each, never recieved 1!!! have to pay for that . Have to pay for a title report fee evey other month 59.18, they can't give me an explanation for this fee but I have to pay it!! I have to pay for a property valuation fee as well 35.20!, I think your right about them wanting houses, the equity I have in my home is almost double what i owe them. I called two different times on the amount due to bring my account current and was told the same amount by both people. I sent the amount they told me would bring my account current only to find a new list of fees to put my account right back in the red. It is not right what they are doing to myself and my family either. I will join any law suit against ocwen . They are criminal and need to be stopped.
