Ocwen Federal Bank purchased my Mortgage Loan from America Quest. I was charged with escrow fees, and some type of service charge and my payments increased.

About 3 to 4 months later they requested Insurance verification, in which I sent them a copy. Next billing they increased my loan to cover insurance they had added. I again, sent a copy of my insurance to them and also to the insurance company they assigned.

The insurance was never deleted from my loan and Ocwen then they also added benefit insurance. When I called and spoke with them (which it took me five months to contact the right person) it did not come off until three months later when I got sick and was behind one payment.

I tried to catch it up by sending a payment and a half, for two months to make-up for the missed payment. Ocwen continue to carry me delinquent. Finally, months later when I was able to reach them, they said they did not apply it to my loan payment but to my impound account. I didn't know I had one.

I contacted them and asked them for an accounting plus my impound account. Several months passed and I still had not received my accounting. I became very ill with (P.C.S.) and needed a liver transplant. I got behind in my payment when I tried to catch them up they would not take anything less than two payments. I requested them to take money from my impound account plus what I was sending to make up two payments, they sent my check back and added additional changes.

Finally, I just sent them one payment plus so they would add it to my impound account until there were enough for a payment never happened. When I contacted Ocwen, they had to check and see, however, if I was 15 days late they would call everyday when my money was in My and Their impound account.

I went into the hospital and did not make a payment that month. Ocwen started foreclosure, and would not give me a figure as to what I owed. Karen, in their adjustment Department would not accept any money at all.

Finally, the next month she called me and gave me a cost to catch my loan up, plus, charge, and interest, and escrow fee, a whole list of charges, money I did not have. I then had to get for a forbearance account I owed 4 months plus charges total of $7,000.00.

During that period I was in the process of refinancing my loan. When my new finance company tried to get information from them, Ocwen would not give them any information because I was in default and was in the forbearance procedure. Finally, that company told me Ocwen will not work with them. I then decided to sell my house to my daughter (this property is Family Owed since the 1940's) we put in into escrow, Ocwen, would not send them pay off information to complete the sale.

I sent my payment in of $1880.00 last month and they sent it back stating I was late, it posted late 4 days and they were foreclosing. I contacted Karen Lambert, she told me she would work it out, she went on vacation, she said, and here or my account was given to someone else.

I got a letter stating a date was being set for estate sale. I called Karen Lambert back she told me she did not know what was going on with my account, in reality while I was talking to her, Karen Lambert, my home was being SOLD. Ms Lambert asked me to call the next day. When I called that a.m., she informed me I had to take matters up with the new owners.
