Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Out mortgage was apparently sold by MetWest to Ocwen. We were never notified and were quite stimied by the fact that Ocwen was calling daily (via a recorded message). We didnt have a clue as to who these people were and sent our mortgage payment to MetWest. It took almost 6 months to figure out who they were and we receive at least 5 calls a week requesting a callback.

When I finally talked to a rep. (the one and only time) I made it quite clear in an extemely unprofessional way, that I was sick and tired of daily calls from them, especially when the payments had been made. I also mentioned that the last statement reflected a different person as the owner/mortgage holder and who/what/where/when/why did the holder of the note become another person?

At any rate, I very rudely told the rep. to put it somewhere dark and that they should probably get their SH-T together because I had never dealt with a mortgage company that couldnt even keep track of the note holder.

We did not sell our mortgage, we did not refinance and refuse to be held accountable for Ocwen's negligent, unthoughtful, unprofessional and bizarre behavior!

I'm with everyone else - let's get rid of this no-good institution and find businesses that have a bit more experience and compassion for all of us hard working people who are raising not only our children, but our grandchildren and elderly parents!

After 15 years of payments, dont we deserve a little break when the going gets REALLY tough?

Last but not least, where the hell did these people come from anyway and has anybody actually acquired a note from them or were they all sold:

I know of no situation where a company would not deal with an individual on a one on one basis. Try answering the call with a civil tongue and negotiate don't try to justify your lack of payment by being nasty. Read any contract you sign completely. And to the person who said if i tell a person to stop calling me and they don't it is harrasment. You deserve to be harrased.

Just for your information...

Seems like either you dont read your mail and your mortgage documents. We dont buy loans only service them specially from metwest that everybody knows provide loans to people with not very good credit.

Yes, i accept that we are aggresive on collecting but you seem to forget that you signed a legal document (or note) that you agree to make payments on a specific date plus have a grace period ONLY to avoid late charges.

We are very aware of the hard times the whole country is going but if you read your legal note not even death will prevent get rid of the payments.

Also on the note states that your loan can be transfer as many times they want to other servicer. Metwest and Ocwen always send letter 15 days before any transfer with all the information you need.

Also four your information the FDCPA (federal agency that control
collectors)rules that any collector can call 7 days a week from 8:00am to 9:00pm (your local time).

If you make your payments on time you can avoid this calls, besides calling us and use bad language maybe make you feel good but is not going to stop the calls and also will prove the kind of person you are.

Remember i am only a person just like you working to pay my bills i am here to help you not to take S*** from anybody, before calling us have that in mind, communication is the key to make us better human beings
