I served on a civil jury in Clark County Arkansas regarding actual and punitive damages resulting from fraudulent actions taken by this company. I sat there in the jury section and watched the owner sleep during most of the trial. I listened to testimony from current and former employees of this delaership. They bragged about their master of the semantics of the English language. For example when the salesman told the buyer he would "show" him $2000 for his trade-in, he looked over at the jury and smiled when he said he could "show" us a $20 bill, but that didn't mean he was going to give it to us. We awarded the plaintiffs over $60,000 for their trouble. Last I checked Southland had appealed and gone through another trial. That jury raised the award to over $200,000. Be careful when dealing with the company, please.
