Where do I start??

First, they told me I would be charged by WEIGHT. I wasn't. I was charged by cubic feet. When I called to complain, they said they pick the 'cheapest' way to ship it. Really? Because the guy who picked up our stuff said they pick the most expensive. Not only that but they charged a premium for the additional 159 cu.ft. they claimed we needed to the tune of an extra $900!! During my complaint I was told their QA person couldn't get a hold of us so it was tough luck. Really? This guy called at 6 pm on a Saturday, doesn't work Sunday, and our pick up was on Monday. We called back but got voicemail and of course never received a call back. All a ploy to over charge.

I was told I'd receive my belongings within a week. That timeframe was also doubled.

Throughout this ordeal they were IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I sent emails and left voicemails and finally threatened to cancel their contract before they picked up my items. In hindsight I wish I would have!!! Oh, did I mention they LIED about being a broker until AFTER I signed the agreement and put down my deposit? The pick up went smooth enough, but when I received my belongings there was so much damage I'd wished I'd just bought all new furniture instead of shipping mine!

They lost the legs for my couch, totally destroyed a solid wood book case and hanging wooden shelving unit, everything (literally EVERYTHING) was either scuffed or dinged. Boxes were crushed, storage totes were obliterated, everything was filthy. Some of it looked like it had been dropped in a mud puddle.

Back to my complaint... They acted very indignent saying, "Well I'm confused. Why is this an issue now?" What kind of response is that? The fact that there IS an issue is the point...not when it became an issue.

These people totally disgust me.
