They guaranteed $300,000 in annual billings. They charged $30,000 in the beginning. They interviewed and trained sales rep and telemarketers. The program started in December, and by March we had to shut down the program due to very poor performance (by NCI's own published standards they were failing to meet NCI's established goals). We were offered either $5,000 refund, or NCI would train a new sales crew.

Given the poor performance of the first crew selected and trained by NCI, we were not willing to return to investing over $4,000 a month to see if they could get it right on the second try.

Monthly cost to maintain sales crew was approximately $4,000 per month. Guarantee requires you maintain the crew for two years. To enforce the guarantee we would have to spend an estimated $96,000 ($4,000*24 = $96,000).

It appears that many other Accountants have had the same experience. This link to Tax Almanac shows several unhappy people.

This particular client ran the Client Acquisition Program for a total of 10 weeks. NCI agrees that the production of the sales team was subpar during the 10 weeks of implementing the program having signed 4 monthly business clients during that time and NCI recommended the termination of the salesperson. While NCI has the best track record in the industry for hiring the right sales team, most would agree that hiring for any position is not an exact science. The key is to identify the problems early and fix or replace the personnel. NCI worked with this client and his sales team to improve results as called for in our contract with him. NCI was prepared to fulfill our contractual obligation and assist client with the hiring and training of a new sales team. We state clearly in our contract that low production and turnover of marketing personnel is a risk factor associated with this or any type of marketing plan. This client signed off acknowledging that risk prior to implementing the program. This client initially agreed to work withy us to restart the program after tax season but then failed to respond to numerous emails and calls to do so. Eight months later NCI received a threatening email in which he requests all his money be returned or else he was to start an online campaign designed to damage NCI’s excellent reputation by making numerous false statements.  After we received this email we again attempted to resolve by returning and training a new CSR or refunding a portion of his fees even though as per his billing guarantee he was entitled to no refund as he had run the program for only 10 weeks out of the 104 weeks required. He declined this offer and has proceeded with his stated threat by posting his comments here on this web site.

NCI has over 4500 clients and there are the sum total of about 8 complaints anywhere plus we have earned an A + business rating with the BBB since 1993 and have thousands of references for anyone to speak with. Call us at 800-338-0778 for a list and will also provide a list of clients whom we have issued refunds under our conditional billing guarantees. Or visit our web site at www.newclientsinc.com and review our successful client video testimonials.
