Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Due to an error on companies part I was issued a physical check on 11/27/07 for benefits that had been direct deposited into my checking account for the last ten years. However, that check has never shown up. I use these funds for living expenses each month and can not do without them.

I contacted the company @ 11/30/07 to find out where my check was at. I was met with a real sense of indifferance on their part and was told to wait ten business days for the check to show up. That's incredible. These people have the attitude that this is my problem and should have resouces to back up these type of problems. Not possible when one is on a fixed income as I am.

Well I waited and waited and it has never shown up to this date. Never once in all the contacts I have made did any of these uncaring employees come up with a resolution other than to wait. Well in the mean time I received an eviction notice, my phone was turned off, and believe it or not my car was repossesed, this is all true.

Well on 12/7/07 I contacted them and spoke to Sonya Hellwinkle who advised me she would "mail" me a lost check affidavit. Can you believe this persons lack of caring. If the check never arrived who would believe this form would show up also considering mailing time back and forth I'd still be with out funds shurly into the middle of December.

Well I came up with an idea and asked her to fax the form to me. Oh, like a light bulb when on she said that would do. She faxed the form and wouldn't you know it had to be notarized. That caused to to walk and find a hotary public, pay that person, out of the little funds I had left for food. I faxed the form back with a cover sheet asking for notification of receipt and request an immeditate deposit into my checking account.

Guess what, I waited the balance of the day and recieved no reply and no deposit to my account. Well of course then it's the weekend and nobody works there over the weekend and here I sit penniless until Monday. I just wonder what more they are going to do to me on Monday. I have been recieving these diability funds for the last ten years after being seriously hurt on the job as a deputy sheriff.

I'm hurt to my core that after investing 15 years protecting the public as a deputy sheriff I could be treated so poorly by these people. Do they really think I could be pulling some scam to cheat them out of one months benefit to jeopardize future lifetime benefits? Come on you cold hearted monsters try and be human beings. I'm sure they would put up with what they have been doing to me if they found themselves in a similar situation. They would uses the "old buddy network" to help themselves.

This is just very poor and I have no way to get my benefits managed by some other organization. I'm stuck with these people the rest of my life. I'm devastated and broke financially and emotionally.

Well low and behold!. These idiots had sent my check to an old address that I had change address with USPO long ago. The entity at the old address indicated No Longer Here and return to sender. O'oy so what did the PO do, Idon't know but finally it got to my good address, of course after I got the replacement check, whew. I re-verified my current address with PERS when this all happened and we concurred. But they still had mailed it to a previous ddress. I'm sick to death.
