Network for Good, if really a true fundraising org, would NOT take anything from donations.  The "funds" they raise and take a chunk for "admin" purposes, hell, you can donate to the charity directly without going thru this middleman.   COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM.. not needed.   Facebook scam as well.   If I donate $100, $500, $1000 to my favorite charity, there is no need to go thru a middlemen scams that take a percentage.    NOT A SINGLE CHARITY out there that you can't support directly!!!!!!!!!  pisses me off.

The reason a company like Network for Good exists is because many of your "favorite" non-profits are also very small and lack the IT platform needed to process donations through a website.  If your "favorite" charity can accept donations through their own website, then they not only paid thousands of program dollars to setup that website, but are generally paying through the nose on fees - which of course means the $100 you donated in reality is closer to $96 or even less depending on the platform.  Even if you called your favorite charity directly and donated $100 to them via CC, they really don't get your full $100 either.  They'll pay anywhere from 2.5% (VISA/MC) to more than 4% (AMEX) depending on the card.  Either way, there is a pesky middleman involved.

The ONLY way your donation to your charity can be received for the full amount is if you pay either in cash, or by check.  In such a case, you couldn't use Network for Good anyway.

My experience is that NFG performs an important and vital service for small non-profits who struggle to fulfill their program objectives.  Your complaint is without merit, is ridiculous, and lacks any sort of knowledge regarding what exactly a non-profit is.
