Nationstar Tax Advisors, LLC Derrick King, Ray Williams No refund given Jacksonville Florida
I was contacted by Nationstar Tax Advisors to help with my tax issue back in March of 2016. I was sent forms to fill out and returned them via email. I asked them what the fees would be and the person who I spoke with, Derrick King, told me that my case had to be "investigated' before they would be able to help me. Eventually, I was given a quote of around $3500 or so and gave them my bank account information. They withdrew money and were slow to respond to the IRS. I had also submitted my taxes for the years owed. The weeks went by and they continued to withdraw money from my account even though they had not contacted the IRS. Throughout this period, the IRS levied my bank account for close to what I owed. I no longer needed Nationstar to help in this matter and asked for a refund. Derrick King's supervisor, Ray Williams, was brought into the matter and he told me that it would take 2 months to receive a refund. I waited for over 5 months and did not receive the money they withdrew. I did contact Derrick King once again for the refund and on the 21st of October, he said that their legal department would be contacting me. I was very upset to get the run around once again and advised Derrick that Ray never mentioned a legal department. I did a Google search on this company and found people had reported this company as a scam/rip-off. This is why I decided to file a Rip-Off report.
