Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We received a letter in the mail stating that we had won either a trip, $500 in cash, or a new truck. We could have used any of the 3, so we answered the card. We were assured it was not a rip off and that we would receive one of the above prizes, which we did. We won the trip. That was not the problem, except the trip was supposed to be free and it does require a deposit???

When we got to the business we were given a speech about the savings we could have belonging to National Savers Inc.. This sounded very good to my wife who is currently on disability and therefore our income has been greately reduced. She decided since our income was less we could use this club to save us money to purchase the items we might need, since they appear to have access to ANY AND ALL items you could ever want to buy.

Well we purchased the membership which was well over $1500.00, but since we were on disability we were given a break and were to pay $899.00 for this membership and payments would begain in 6 months.

We tried the membership out when I needed a new pair of shoes for work and my wife had found a pair of very good shoes in the mason shoe catalog and she called NSI and inquired about the shoes and what the price would be to have them purchase them for us. She was told they did not have an account with this piticular Mason Shoe, even though Mason Shoes was listed in their catalog that we were given, and that they would try to set up an account with them and would get back to us. We waited for 2 or 3 days and had not heard anything from them so she called them and they returned the call and she was told, these things take time to set up and they would get back to us.That was October of last year and we still have not gotten a call from them. My wife has called them and got the same responce from them as before. Needless to say I purchased a pair of shoes somewhere else on my own.

I have written to the company about this dissatisfaction with our membership and was told we should not decide about the company on one item that we were not able to purchase. I have tried to explain to them it was not the item but was the idea that I was not inportant enough to them to even receive a phone call to tell me they could not get the shoes or could not set up an account. I do not want to do further business with them and I do not want to have to pay the rest of the account of $799.00 to them with this kind of service. I do not do business that way and I do not expect to have this done to me either. I paid them $100.00 down and would also like to have that back to as I could have used it to buy my shoes. I fell I have been ripped off and they have told me too bad. tough luck, you signed, and you are obligated to pay. Why in the world would I trust them for bigger purchases if they could not supply a simple pair of shoes????

I would appreciate any and all assistance you can give me, and thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. I am glad someone is out there.
