Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
One week ago, I also recieved a phone call from a women who muffled her name when I asked her several times for it. I never could get her to clearly spell her name. To the point- she said she was from Medicare, and was offering to deposit $300 into my bank account if which she already had all of my routing, account and social security numbers too.

I would not confirm these numbers and insisted I did not use the bank she had the information too. For one I am on Social Security Disability, and have never been called from anyone using the name or department of Medicare. I have recieved numerous calls that were legitimate from the Social Security Administration, who always clearly tell their name, phone number and their employee pin I.D. number whenver they call. The SSI/SSA office has confirmed to me, no one in their offices will ever call anyone saying they are from Medicare.

So if you recieve a call from anyone stating they represent Medicare I can guarantee you are in the process of I.D. Fraud or attempted extortion. Many things occurred within this next following week. Though I denied the person from the pretensious party of Medicare, that I did not care to do any business with them, and did not want any of their services, while telling them clearly I was NOT authorizing them to do any business with me.

Within the week, I recieved a letter from a National Health Net Online company. I attempted to call the phone number on the letter numerous times to conact them to no avail, which was clearly spelled out by a Julie A. Jones, Customer Service Operations.

Yet when I finally found their website after numerous failed attemtps while using the website address they included in their letter, the URL link was not legitiamte. Their 866 toll free phone number on their letter was also not legitimate. I thought let me try 1-800 in lieu of 1-866 to try and contact this company in the shadows.

Using the rest of their number I was suprisingly connected to their business. The complete number to contat them by phone is 1-800-923-3611. I told them I had recieved a letter from them which stated their company was going to withdraw $299.95 from my checking account for a health plan of which I had never heard of, which they claimed I signed up for.

During this same week so far, I did have another unauthorized electronic check draft which removed approx. 365 dollars out of my account. Upon finding of this unauthorized withdraw from my account, my bank told me of the company name and telephone number which the company named 'Optimal Direct LLC', had withdrawn my funds fro my checking accout basically cleaning out my account.

I called the 1-866 phone number the bank gave me, which they recieved via the electronic check withdraw. Not only do I still have the blank check in my possession which has never been filled out of which the Optimal illegitimate company used to steal my money. When I did call this phone number after 10 rings I got a recording stating this is Optimal Prime Lending Mortgage Company. Well, I do not have and have not had a mortgage in 12 years.

Secondly I left a message telling them to call me as soon as possible, yet never did recieve a call back. Upon hanging up on my home phone I speed dialed the same number on my cell phone only to get a busy signal, which tells me this company is perhaps a fraudulent company illegitmately using a one telephone line answering machine, unlike all legitmate corportaions automated systems who have 1,00s of connections per this one phone line, so tens of thousands of people can do business using their automated system witout fail or waiting, immediately.

Secondly I called back a 3rd time about 10 minutes later, and a man picked up the phone, and said he had just recieved this toll fee number not even 24 hrs. ago, and since that time he had been innudated with people calling him saying they were given this phone number to contact the Optimal Company directly. He said he had recieved over 30 calls that morning alone from persons stating they hd been scammed from their credit cards to their bank accounts.

I figure either he was the scam artist or the poor fool who had just inherited the toll fee number of a fly by fraudulent company. I had to process a letter and the necessary paperwork to recall payment from this fraudulent company, and obtain rebating either from the company or the FDIC. I do not expect my bank to be able to easily catch these thieves. But how they got my banking and address, plus social security numbers just boggles my mind.

During the same week I recieved 3 different pre-approved Master and Visa Cards in which the activation number was enclosed for credit limits anywhere from $250 to $2,500 dollars. Upon reviewing all 3 of these pre-authorized credit cards which were from 3 different banks, I read the phine print and it told me, I would have to call a 800 Toll Free number to 'Opt Out" of this card offers, of which I never Opted In or asked for or applied for.

I noticed all 3 creidt card companies utilized the same exact phone number from Opting out which put me in touch with both credit reporting agencies, Experian and Equifax Opt Out automated services. It does indeed appear the very creit reporting agencies that are supposed to help keep our credit safe, also has another side of their faces. For one can buy credit helper policies with them whenever anyone is attempting to make any withdrawls either over a certain amount, or by any parties not pre-authorized until the card or bank account holder authorizes such transaction. Yet on the other hand for free and no service both companies are guilty of senind and selling mail list and phone lists to possible credit card agencies, mortgage bankers, and other such companies as health care (not to be confused with legitimate health insurance company and policies). This seems to be just the front coriolis of the hurricane prior to the eye and the aftermath.

It will be interesting to say the least how all of this turns out, while I am in the process of chaning all of my banking institutions and accounts. I will keep you posted on any upcoming further occuring events as they hapen,. I have a feeling I have not seen or heard the last of these hackers and frauds, or Identification thieves.

If you for one second really believe you are safe, please think again. I thought my own bank account would be impenetrable since it is with a financial institution that requires one to have special clearances from the Federal Department of Defense to have a checking savings or any toher type of loan or account through them. Knowing this one would think to exract and extorty information and money from this system would of made it the least possible banking institution to hack into. Yet obviously nothing is safe.

If this account is hackable then any account is not safe. Notify your bank or financial insitution of any anomalies as soon as possible as many of them only have 24 hrs. from the time of the event and tansaction occuring to recoup their losses that have been unathorized withdrawls.
