National Asset Recovery Harrassing PHONE CALLS, TRYING TO GET MONEY ripoff Atlanta Georgia
This happened to my mother. She told me that this phone number 1 678 578-1800 kept coming up on her caller ID everyday. She didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.
Finally one day she picked the phone up when the same number came up on the caller ID. She didn't get the name of the person on the other end. Keep in mind my mother is elderly. The person on the other end of the phone told my mother that she had an outstanding balance of $800.00 from Victoria's Secret Store. My mother has never shopped at Victoria's Secret. Like I mentioned shes an elderly person. She told the representative that that she did not have an account at this store.
He insisted that she did have an account there, they went back and forth with this. Finally my mother screamed at him and he hung up. Now this number continually comes up several times a week. I told her not to answer it.
I'm glad I finally took the time to look this company up. I found out that they are a scam trying to get money from people. Reading other peoples complaints about this same company has definitely helped out.
I'm going to make a call to them and tell them to STOP calling and harrassing my elderly mother. If they continue I will definitely file charges of harrassment.
