This is a long story but I will try to make it brief.

In 2000 I received a credit card, with First Consumers NationaL Bank and I could opt to have a protedtion plan which I initialed that I wanted it. I made a copy of the inital application for my informaation.

I was initally let go in Sept. 2001, basically because of problems with legs and feet. I drew unemployment while applying for disability. I was making a payment $30.00 a month, which was all I could.

I wrote to the company that was on my application so I could get them to make the payments. I never heard from then at all.

I then started writing to the credit card company to get information and help. They were charging me $3.00 a month for this plan and I needed it. I never got any response from the credit card company.

I then found out that First Consumers National Bank, credit card had filed for bankruptcy.

The account was turned over to Attention LLC and continued to make payments, but they were not sending any kind of statement showing I was making payments. The money was being applied to so called late fees, over charges. I kept asking for a statement and found out that balance was more than originally stated. They refused to send me a statement, saying that someone like me did not diserve a statement. I refused to send more payments with out a statement.

It has now been trurned over to National Action Finance Service. They are telling me that I have to send $50.00 a month, I am on disability and can't afford it.

I was told by Mike Stone that First Consumer did not file bankruptcy, and he was in contact with them daily, he also laughed at the fact that I had insurance on the card and told me there was no such a thing. I still have the original applicatuion and a monthly statement showing they charged $3.00 for it.

On one other call from National Action stated, " since you are on disability because of you legs and feet, maybe you should think about making extra money laying on your back !"
