Mustek scanner drivers won't work with american versions of windows

Tried 2 different models of their scanners SCSI and Parallel one locks up printer the other would not run at all. Too much time had passed to return the SCSI and now I'm stuck with it. Mustek has discontinued most of their scanners (www.mustek.com) and the store (Best Buy of Chicago) that I purchased it tells me now that they no longer sell anything from Mustek because of the same problems I'm having with this junk. No correct file drivers to operate the scanners. I tried to report this to the Better Business Bureau of California and I got a letter back from the Better business bureau that said the Mustek president is a member of them, some how. Mustek is sleeping with the Better Business Bureau of California.

I have a Mustek 1200 IIIEP scanner and have never had any problems. It was originally installed with Windows 95 and then reinstalled and updated with Windows 98. The best part it was a very inexpensive scanner but had a lot of extras. Sorry you've had problems maybe you didn't quite follow ALL the directions when installing!
