Multi Aucition Services Fraudulent diamond sale by Multi Auction Services Los Angeles California
The diamond I had won and bought from US JEWELRY LIQUIDATION 2067 S ATLANTIC BLVD COMMERCE, CA 90040 Multi Auction Services turned out to be a much lower color grade through GIA certification, (U as opposed to H-J) than what was represented on the bidding description on Liveauctioneers.com. The pleasure of buying the diamond, which did not correspond to the quality that was presented, cost me $850. It consists of the buyer’s premium, the GIA certification, taking the diamond in and out of a necklace to get tested and shipping it back and forth to the seller. The seller laughed and said that they don’t even carry those type of diamonds, even though the GIA proved them wrong. Having seen the previous report of someone else getting scammed (link below), I felt the need to post this atrocity on your website as well.

California does not require an auctioneer to be licensed. There's nothing you can do about this transaction on this level.
I would have suggested you file a complaint with your bank for credit card fraud, however, you removed the gemstone from the ring. I don't know why you did that. You do not need to remove a gemstone to determine the three C's. Any Certified Gemologist would have been able to tell you what it was by simply evaluating it with a loop. I have had many pieces of jewelry evaluated and they've never once asked to remove the gemstone.
It appears you were taken advantage of by both the seller and whoever you took the ring to for evaluation. If they took the gemstome out, there's a very good chance they swapped it with another. There is no reason whatsoever to EVER remove a gemstone from a setting to test it.
