Ms. Rawls sold me a horse, a registered, pure bred, arabian mare, she did not legally own at the time I purchased it. The horse was neglected, emaciated, infested with worms, had a fungal infection called, Scratches, on a back leg.

I live in AZ. When the mare arrived I had to quarantine her and spend a significant amount of money to get her healthy. I purchased the mare in April 2018. Ms Rawls did not get legal papers of mare until late Aug. 2018.  She has refused to send me registration papers for the mare. She has told B.B.B. of OR. she is willing to "sell us" the papers. This individual, is very unethical, greedy and an abuser of animals.

I will not pay another penny for the papers. I gave her $4000.00 for the purchase of a registered pure bred Arabian mare. Ms. Rawls had the registration papers, old photos of mare and video on line which she directed me to go to, when she was selling her to me.

I am continuing to request the registration papers I paid for.

I wish to add, the Arabian Horse Assoc. will not issue a new registration until the holder of the registration papers signs off. That is their policy.  Mr. Hollowell, former owner of,Rose sent the registration to Ms. Rawls because she still owed him money for a puppy she bought from him. She pressured him into sending them to her so, she could use them as leverage to muzzle me. Ethically the papers should have come to me.

I have sent A.H.A copies of the contract, the check which proves I paid for Rose in full, with a detailed explanation  of what transpired with this transaction. They will not give me a registration for Rose. Their advice is to take K. Rawls to court. If I lived in OR I would have done so. However, even if I win a judgement against her, how do I collect the money or get papers?? I can not afford to throw good money after bad money.

I had done business many years ago with Ms. Rawls. I had no reason to distrust her since, the first transaction was satisfactory. She sent me the papers for the pony after that transaction was done. I expected that would be the case with this purchase. I Live in AZ, Ms. RAwls lives in OR. I relied on the registration papers, photos and video she directed me to.

I love the mare. She is in beautiful condition now and has a forever home. She has gained 200 LBs., has several acres of pasture and a buddy. We go on the trails several times a week. I have contacted every agency available to complain about Ms. Rawls.

The humane society in Joseph, sheriff office in OR and in AZ, Portland humane society, Attorney General in OR and AZ, animal rights groups, the Feds. etic .etc. None of these agencies have been able to make her accountable for her abuse, lies, and fraud. Private prpoerty rights prohibit them from going onto her property and check on the welfare of these animals. I do not have the funds to take her to court although, I know I would win. I have many text messages from the former owner of Rose, John Hollowell of Walla Walla, WA detailing his nightmare experience with Ms. Rawls and her refusal to pay him for the mare for 2 years.

Ms. Rawls is now on the map everywhere. I will continue to expose her. No defenseless animal should be treated with such callous disregard and all for a buck. She just sold, through an online auction, 25-30 horses. I sincerely hope these horse went to a home that will care for them. They were the lucky ones to leave Mt. Dragon Pony Acres.

You bought a horse site unseen and now are unhappy about it?? The you are at fault. This horse needs love and attention yet you complain because of this poor mare's condition when you bought SITE UNSEEN!! Contact the ASPCA and file a complaint about the neglect and then you can contact the Arabian Horse Assn and request the papers.

I hope you take good care of this beautiful girl. AND I do not work this person because if I did I would have contacted the ASPCA on her in a heartbeat.
