MRA/GGW Girls gone wild videos - Perfectly legal unethical rip-offFOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2
I to was sucked into the unbelievable situation I am now in. I am in the process of getting my card refunded, but I am having to jump through hoops that just keep appearing. Not only did I find out that I have to send the videos back at my expense but that this practice is apparently legal. With all this to think about My card rep. warns me to document the return to GGW because they know that this company "loses" things. It may be legal but is it ethical to keep doing buisness with a company like GGW. Capital One Visa should not look on clients by can we do buisness but should they do buisness with a company. I blame myself but I hold all parties involved responsible.
