MRA VIDEO "GGW VIDEO" SCAM & RIP OFF BEWARE!!!!FOX 6 investigative reporter John Mattes first broke the story how Girls Gone Wild was marketing videos for only $9.99 consumers found the company tacking on huge fees. Thousands of consumers called it a rip-off on ripoffreport. After our story aired an attorney sued calling it deceptive advertising. Video part 1 Video part 2
These Guy's are a total scam......
(first part of scam)
If you order once, they will continue to send you another video every month until you tell them to stop. This will be done without even telling or asking you. I orderd by phone, and was never told about this.
(Second part of scam) You CAN'T TELL THEM TO STOP. I've tried everything. The company changed address 3 times in 8 months.
(Third part of scam)
These "additional videos" are substancialy more compaired to the originals these are at a pricey 24.95 each
(Forth part of scam) I've tried to send the packages "return to sender", but that doesn't help either. They keep the video, and you still maintain the charge.
(Fith part of scam) If you call, It's a long distance number and will most likely be busy. I got through ONCE and was on hold 15 minuets. After this women(totaly uncompitant) picked up the phone, she said that there computers were down and that they would call me back (yeah right!).
My Resolution! - I had to cancel my card or change account numbers. Then file a "un-authorised charge" dispute for each instince. This needs to be done within 2 months of when if first apeared on your statement(sometimes 1 month). I got to keep 3 videos and I got my money back. (I also got a new clean looking credit card :) ) The system works, but it's a pain in the a*s.
If your reading this, DON'T BUY FROM THEM
