I paid my rent for three days in advance when DeePak pulled this stunt. DeePak the manager moved me to the Holiday Motel on 3rd where Kumar the real Motel West owner lives. Curious I came back and verified that DeePak had actually rented the room to another customer. No brand new carpeting only Indian lies. This is an Indian run property which means no refunds. Wake up with serious body ache or back ache from sleeping on a cheap mattress? No refunds! In the United States brand new means brand new. You purchased the new mattress from Costco or another trustworthy retailer. You remove the protective plastic from the brand new Costco mattress and put the new mattress into service. In India brand new means you purchase a ten year old used mattress from another Indian motel in Los Angeles. The ten year old used Indian mattress is now brand new in its new home. As you can see brand new means different things to different people. There is a very prominent No Refunds sign in the office in case you need clarification. This is probably the result of unhappy customers. The Bend Police have Motel West down for repeated issues with drugs and prostitution. You should always check the reputation of any business before handing over your money. Sometimes being the super cheapest Motel in Bend Oregon 97701 may not be the very best choice if you have small children or teenagers.
