Montemayor Motors ..Beware!!! Ripped-Off by these Unlicensed Backyard Mechanics
I spoke to this mechanic from Montemayor Motors about rebuilding the transmission for my car. He said he could do the job. And gave me a 3 month warranty. When they picked up the transmission a part was left behind.
They told me I needed to replace the tork converter, which also has a 3 month warranty. They referred me to a place that specializes in tork converters. As soon as the transmission was done. I had the tork converter ready. So that I could have my car done as soon as possible.
I asked the mechanic for a receipt from the one he sent my transmission to get rebuilt. He refused to give me one until I paid him $35.00 more.
I had my transmission and tork converter place back into my car by the mechanics at Speedway Auto Repair, located on Hwy 107 Mission,Tx 78572 (956)585-0477.
Repairs were done twice and still wasnt done right. They had my car up on a lift and to the looks of it they dropped it, busted my shocks in the rear, busted a tire, and parts of my trimmings were off of car. Car is still not running. Mechanics are blaming on another and refusing to get the job done. I called them time and time again and my warranty is gonna out soon.
