I purchased my home security system from Pinnacle Home Monitoring System and after approx tewo years I started recieving mail and bills from Monitronics stating "they" took over Pinnacle Security. Well, after being a previous customer of Monitronics and having my home burglarized twice(after I purchsed there service) with this company there was no way I wanted to do business with them ever again. At this point after several attempts to cancel this contract Monitronics continued to deduct monies from my account until I contacted my bank and removed them from my automatic pay account. Now, I'm recieving bills, phone calls the whole nine yards, everything but them cancelling Pinnacle's contract. I also moved and after informing these ripoffs to turn my digital photos off they did not??? I then started to receive pics to my email and cell phone of a condo that was sold. Once again, no one could help me with that. I don't think it's fair nor should it be LEGAL for a company to sell your contract or personal information especially banking info to another company without informing the consumer first. That RIGHT should be of the consumer.
