This is yet another report of the latest scam. A car listed on craigslist that seems too good to be true. The seller is out of the country (very busy he says)and he's just gone through a divorce and needs to sell the car in the states. It's in a warehouse in NYC and will be delivered to my door.
I registered with MoneyBookers and then got an email the escrow accnt had been set up and just send the $ via MoneyGram and he'll ship to car with all the documents and keys. There were also two other vehicles listed the same way but the sale was being handled through eBay purchase. Probably the same type of scam. I didn't follow through on those. Are there any legit 'good' deals out there?
