I had to select Tile because this website does not have a hardwood flooring category.

I just had a Mohawk hardwood floor installed and what a huge mistake.  I wish I had researched all the complaints about the low quality product the sell.  Almost immediately, it developed scratches from normal everyday use.  I now has dents and cracks after 2 months. 

Their website tells you about how great their product is but when something happens, you are told by their claims dept. that even simple scratches are not covered under warranty.  I have been jerked around by Mohawk for 3 months with waiting for their internal lab to test their own product just to tell me its ok when I know it’s not. 

My hardwood floor installer of 17 years told me their finish is the weakest he has ever seen.  I am now out of $3,000 for a floor we are afraid to set anything down on.  I will curse Mohawk every time I come home. 

Do NOT purchase anything from this company.  Check the other hardwood floor website reviewws and you will see numerous complaints about Mohawk and their low quality product.

Here is what they display on their website which in my experience is a complete lie.

after less than 3 montsh we are starting to see delamination along the edges of boards. the warranty is a joke and mohawk will immediately try and blame the homeowner.

there are reams of bad reviews for all their hardwood products and i'm so sorry i listened to the saleman and didn't google the ocmpany before investing $10000 on a new floor i will most likely ahve to replace in afew years.

Hi Laura, I have told my story twice to your customer service department on two seperate occasions, plus told it a third time to a rude and indifferent woman in your claims department who placed the entire issue on me.  I could not even get the local sales rep to take 5 minutes out of their day to stop by and look at the issue.  I ended up paying a lot to have your original finish sanded off and replaced with one that is of high quality and looks much better than the original.  Unless Mohawk is prepared to honor the statements on their website that tells everyone how great their product is by reimbursing me for the refinishing job, I do not know what else can be done.  My original claim number is 6916643.
