Complaint Review: Model Productions Modeling Agency - N.Y.C, ATL, && MIAMI Other

First off Angela, I am one of the Models that got selected and to let you know i did not have to pay a dime when the offered me my contract. It was a one year newface modeling contract, completly free. They take 20% agency commission when ever they book me on work, And so far i've been with them for five months and i've booked four jobs. I am so sick of hearing new models who just because they didn't get selected go on this sight and able to write lies about any body they want to, If you search other top agencies like IMG Models-Tyra Banks agency, Elite Models-Cindy Crawfords old agency even they have reports on this website of stupid bitter models who don't get signed with them. Even if i didn't get selected through the scouting event the experiance alone plus portfolio they gave me to start off my career all for $150 is way less then i know you paid at that modeling school your talking about, If you new anything about this industy even Tyra banks herself says that your responsible to get your own portfolio taken and that normally can be between $300-$500( MP photogragher are $150) and then your agency represents you for free, and thats exactly what MP does. They are out there to open the door for new models and lift you up when no body else does. Its people like you who think that an agent is just suppose to find you and make you a star over night and thats not how this business works at all, Just like any business you start off at the bottom and work your way up. I've been doing this for almost five years now and Model Productions is THE BEST and cheapest way for new models to get into the industry.

This company is nothing but a rip off!! For starters... when I tryed out almost everyone got through... and I have gone to Modeling School and will be attending a REAL international modeling and talent association next year in New York, so I know who has what it takes and who does'nt. None of the girls/boys started their cat walk in model stance, and none of them did it the way it's supposed to be done, but yet almost all of them got through??? & they did try to fool me by saying the amount of $150.00 was to cover a "photoshoot" and whatever else, but looking back, if an agency wants you, you should NOT have to pay a dime!!!! Any real model or model agency will tell you that! Even the amazing Tyra Banks!! It's about what they'll pay YOU!! Not what you have to pay them! All the little kids, girls, and guys that came out full of hope and dreams are just being used!! People that do this to all those people are just SICK, and need a life! I do have a t-shirt, bag , and peice of crap portfolio that they gave me, which will just be trashed unless I get my money back like I deserve. There is no reason for people like them to crush all these people's dreams just for money, but that just goes to show how cruel this world is! SO IF MODEL PRODUCTIONS COMES TO YOUR LOCAL MALL OR WHERE EVER ELSE, YOUR BEST BET IS JUST TO IGNORE THEM! I hope this helps people out there that have so much passion to model or even act! Dont let cruel people like this tear down your dreams! Keep pushing foward with your eyes open, DONT BE FOOLED!!! And, remember if ANY agency wants you, they'll offer to pay you!
