Dear Tennessee: If your hearing aids are digitally programmable or digital, it is possible to re-program them. I suggest you go to another Miracle-Ear Center and request a re-test of your hearing and to have your hearing aids re-programmed to meet your loss. It is unfortunate that the center where you purchased the aids cannot do this, perhaps the specialist does not know how to do it. Don't give up, you deserve to hear as well as possible with the instruments your purchased. Usually you have a warranty that will cover any damage that the specialist cannot repair. Have you checked into that? Miracle-Ear is a wonderful company, their technology is state-of-the-art. Sometimes individual personalities are a judgement of the company as a whole. I know it is difficult when you have a hearing problem to be patient because you want to hear! And, you deserve to hear in the best possible manner that technology can provide to you. Please don't be discouraged, I am sure this dilema can be solved if you pursue a solution. If there is no other Miracle-Ear center near you, contact customer service at the home office. Someone will help you.
