In Nov 13 I was released. A short time later I went to with drawl some cash out of my acc. After a few failed try's . I got intouch with the bank. I was told that all the money had been withdrawn .I asked to speak with a supervisor . I was told to send in paper work as proff that I had been ware I said . I did so. .after a few weeks of them telling me that they hadnt received anything and giveing me wrong #s .

I spoke with a maniger that told me that sence I hadnt reported the money being stolen within 120 days of the last withdraw, there was nothing they could or would do . They were now closeing the acount, and would let me open anew one . I exspained to the person that I had been Incarcerated . That I was locked up at Walla Walla state prison . That I was behind a large wall . That I did not make phone calls .did not wright letters .and did not receve any visits. There's no way I could have given anyone permission . Did they tell you who withdrew the money? And when the mone was withdrawn? Who is especially important. Per the SSA "

If you are receiving SSI, your payments are suspended while you are in prison. Your payments can be reinstated in the month you are released. However, if your confinement lasts for 12 consecutive months or longer, your eligibility for SSI benefits will terminate and you must file a new application for benefits. "

So it's entirely possible that SSA sent some payments but then found out that you were incarerated. If so, SSA would pull back any payments that you wre not eligible for.

You say that you didn't make phone calls, write letters or receive visits; so how do you know the bank continued to get your direct deposits? Seems we're not getting the entire story.
