Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
A tech named Sam came out to the house from Mesatronics. Our complaint with the T.V. was the picture would go black and then come on, at the top it would have swirling colored lines, it was an intermittent problem.. He looked at it for awhile then said he had one like it and knew the problem, he would get the parts and be back in a week, he told us it would be appx. $389.00 and he needed a $125.00 deposit which we paid by check.

A week past and we did not hear anything. I called and spoke with Joy. I was told the parts had been ordered and not in yet. I called at least three more times and was told the same thing.

Over a month later the tech came out with the parts, as he was working on it there was a popping sound and after that we had no picture at all. He said he missed some parts that needed to be replaced and left with the story he would be back in a week. He never got back to me so I called them. Same story, still waiting on parts. I am not sure what happened but they were just here last week and left again without it being repaired. Again he came back worked on it for some time and said it had to be taken to the shop. At that time we questioned the cost we were told it would remain the same. I made several phone calls to them trying to get a time frame of when they would be back, ever time I was given the run around, one day I was told the computers were down, that they would get back to me, they didn't. I had been hung up on one time, my husband tried, same thing.

Finally after at least twenty calls and many months later they said it was done, that a new tech would be bringing it out, both Sam (Field tech) and the first tech who worked on it in the shop, were no longer with the company, I was told this by Joy. This tech came out and put the T.V. back together only to find out it still was not fixed, he called in to the shop, they decided (he and who ever he was talking to) they knew the problem to bring it back in, it would take a few days. We have not seen the T.V. since, he took it back to the shop on (I believe it is the right date). When I called,I was told Pete was the person to speak with at this point, He treated me terrible and told me not to expect him to get it done in an afternoon, he did not give a care in the least that they have had my T.V. for over three and a half months, now four months, And that if I wanted, they would bring it back "as is." Then I remarked I didn't want it back in worse shape than when they started, He said I didn't know what I was talking about. That is how that was left. They really have the worst customer service I have ever seen, they have treated us like we are bothering them. Each and every call, we are given the run around.

Today I called to find out the status and again, told they would get back to me. I told them I was done with their nonsense and would be taken other action, that I would be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau, and doing what ever it takes to get my T.V. back in complete working condition. All along they have been making comments, the techs and this Pete guy, on the money that they are loosing on this, I am sure that is why we have not been a priority as well as I don't think they have a clue as to what they are doing.

About cost, we gave them the $125.00 deposit and then $268.00 is due on completion. We have never been told of any additions to the estimate, and I asked Joy on several occasions (as well as the tech when he took the insides of the T.V.), if there were any additional cost, I was told no each and every time. I questioned the difference when it became an in shop repair, again I was told it was the same as the original estimate. Today when I asked about the balance due, I was told it was undetermined because of all the additional parts and labor, that they had no record of the original estimate in their computer!

I want it to be known, that no additional cost was ever approved or discussed for that matter. I don't know what it will cost to have the T.V. repaired, with what they have done, we have no idea what condition it is in. The cost to replace it, could be over $3,000. We went with the $400.00 repair, because the TV is only about 3 years old. It had a better picture than the new ones. It is a 52" RCA, and is in perfect shape (the part in my den anyway) with the exception of this problem!!! We paid $2900.00 for it new.

I read the (BBB) Better Business Bureau story on the Rip-off Report Home page and took your advise and called them, even though they don't seem to be worth a dam.

The Better Business Bureau has given them an unsatisfactory rating. Specifically the records show, a pattern of no response to customer complaints brought to their attention by the Bureau. I spoke with Sylvia Ramirez. I also had a copy of the report faxed to me. I am going to file my complaint with the BBB, online.

The contact on record with the Better Business Bureau is Sharon Pommerening, listed as Vice President. Speaking with Joy at Mesatronics, I was told that it is owned by, Frank Monteleon and Pete Zachman.

Thank you for your web site forum.

Sincerely,

Joyce Comita
