McKenzie Scott Caveat Emptor ripoff Denver Colorado
Greetings, This message is to be filed in the "for what it is worth" category. I was an employee in good standing that was downsized from a Senior Management position at a Fortune 500 company in May of this year. As I write this, it is almost Thanksgiving of the same year. I was approached by an assistant to the Managing Director from McKenzie Scott after posting my resume on Monster. At first I was skeptical, but felt better after spending an hour on the phone talking to a great sales person there, Mr. Norris from Oregon. After my consultation with Norris, we agreed to visit again on the phone the following Monday. In the meantime, I did some due diligence and came across this (Ripoff Report) website, and also found the feedback from 28 posted members. I emailed Norris with my newfound recon, and he said that his firm had filed a lawsuit against the Ripoff Report. I asked to see the paperwork on the lawsuit that his firm filed against the Ripoff Report. Norris emailed me some copies of other firms' suits against the report, and some info that attempted to disparage the author of the Ripoff Report. Of the two firms that Norris referenced, one had been accused of death threats to the author of the Ripoff Report, and one was run by a convicted Felon. I still regularly utilize this website as a reference, and believe it is a great reference for anyone who uses it to uncover companies that prey on those in a vulnerable position.
