I opened an MCI worldcom wireless account in early - mid 2000...My bills came in about $30- $40 for at least the first 3 months....I paid in full every time....but as time went on the bills started to increase...I received my last bill around about November of 2000. I paid it in full.

In January of 2001 I called McI to change the billing address...The representative advised me that they were having billing problems so they were unable to do so and then she said I will make a note of it on the account and it will be updated once the billing problem had stopped. I also advised her that I had not received a bill since about November of 2000...she said again billing problems (technical) was the reason and I will receive a back bill soon. Well soon did not happen until 03/02. In which my bill was $600...on top of the bill it stated MCI will be sending bills every 2-3 weeks to catch up with the billing....payment was due upon receipt...the next bill came 2 weeks later $1,500....another 2weeks $2,500..Last but not least $3,000......UNBELIEVABLE!!! DUE UPON RECEIPT!!!!

Oh wait when I recieved the 1st bill I canceled my service because the CSR had advised me at that time the bill was $3000...but I had to see it......I don't know...that does not sound right. I thought I was the only one but looking at these reports I see that I am not...I refused to pay because something is just not right...It has affected my credit report but I DO NOT CARE!!!! I'll pay for what I owe but to send bills when you feel like it and then expect payment upon receipt is crazy.
