I received advertisement for a world com phone service. They sent me a used cell phone. When I first received it. I had to have it flashed. They wanted me to send it to them thur the mail and it took me 3 weeks to received the auth return label and by that time I figured out that I could take it to cingular because they purchased air time from them. In the 3rd week my voice mail did not work. So I went to cingular again with my contract and cingular was able to ativate the voice mail because it was something that world com did not do. When I dealing with world com I requested a new phone one that would work they refused unless I was willing to pay for it. Also I requested to cancel the service because of lack of service and they told me that it will be 250.00 to cancel early. The contract states 200.00. I also lost 200.00 in pay because the cell phone did not work because my boss could not contact me. This is when I had the phone for on 3 days. I have left 3 messages and told the customer service person to let me speak with his supervisor and he said that the supervisor was unavailable at the moment but would call me back. Well that God I did not hold my breath because I am still waiting for that call and that was a month ago. I would still like to talk with worldcom. But cant get thru to their customer service because their que statis is currently full. To try again later. The phone finally works now part time. Only get 15 min. of talk time before the battery has to be recharged for half a day. Please customer service please give me service. And a new phone that works or just cancel my service where I can be a customer to a company that will appreciate my business.
