I bought the bottom freezer model #MBB2256GES fridge just over one year ago. It started making a weird noise, so I called the Maytag hotline. They said that sometimes the fridges make noises, not to worry, but they did mention that it was just past it's warranty, so they weren't responsible if something does go wrong. Well it finally died completely. I lost about $200 worth of groceries.

I'm not even done paying for this thing! I ended up waiting over week for a repairman to come and look at it. He announced the compressor died. To make a long story short. I had no fridge for over 3 weeks ( 2 weeks for the part to show up) and and I had to pay for a $65 service call on top of the $200 worth of food I lost. I'm a single mom trying to live on a small income. Thanks Maytag!!!!!!
