MAYTAG ripoff! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR QUALITY, TIME CONSUMING, MISREPRESENTATION OF PRODUCT LINE. CLEVELAND Tennessee
I had to have a Maytag! After all aren't they they lonelyest guys in town? I don't think so... 6 Months after I hought my washer and dryer from HH Gregg, problems began to erupt. The washer would stop for no reason at all... mid cycle. Not even off balance just stop. Then the machine began to go off balance and dance all over the laundry room... and LOUD. Whew, the banging noise was unbelievable.
So I called HH Greg. Could not get past the morons in the call center. Call after call and no customer service. I even had my bill of sale. By this time it was 8 months out. Called local technicians in area but no one works on Saturdays in Tennessee.
Now 9 months out,called Maytag customer service. I could not get through to any of them what my problems were, they kept telling me to go back to HH Gregg. By this time the dryer was drying clothes but the smell was horrible. I called Maytag 7 times and finally told them to come and get the machines they were at the curb. No one cared at Maytag. Send them e mails and got back generic responses.
Finally I got someone at HH Gregg. Tech came out and said many problems too numerous to fix on site. Took washer with him. Four months later, Maytag returned to me I turned it on to do a load of laundry and it did the same things prior to the repair.
But now it leaks oil on the bottom of the machine.
My mom has had Kenmore appliances for 25 yrs!! No more Maytag for me! Maytag, I am still waiting for you to come and get the machines!!
