Matthew Sherman has ripped off so many people. Sounds like he is a failure at running his own business. At least when I bought mine from him I didn't rip off people and abuse children, cheat, lie, steal, watch child porn, engage in the sale of child porn, ect. Since the beginning of this month, I have moved to another state. I never got a refund for my jacket. Nor any consolation for dealing with an obonoxious new jersey/bronx accent on the phone all the time.

I was Christmas shopping this year when I did a search for a leather jacket for a gift. Just Leather.com came up so I took a look. I liked what I saw and with me being in time as far as the "order by this date for Christmas delivery" which flashed on the site, I ordered the jacket. I ordered it on December 17th....I was suppose to go out of town on Christmas eve but waited because I was waiting on my order which did not come so I ended up leaving on Christmas morning. The next week I called the company and was told that the jacket was back ordered...which bothered me because I was not informed. I told the gentleman that I had ordered it for a gift. I was then told that the jacket would be in on new years eve and that it would be sent out with a free three day shipment upgrade since I had not gotten my order. Yesterday was a month since I made the order and I still don't have the jacket. I have called several times since then only to get "Our operators are busy, please leave your name and number and order number and you will be called back." I got a message last week from a "Matthew Sherman" to call or email him to get the order correct. I have called but still the same result....the answer machine. I feel very stupid and don't know what to do. I wish I had seen this site before I ordered. Who can I get to help me with this?

To Whom it May Concern: Please be advised that my firm is legal counsel to Matthew Sherman and his business Just Leather. I am compelled to post this communication as a result of various offensive and malignant comments posted by someone who identifies himself as "Jason." Rest assured that none of Jason's comments regarding Mr. Sherman personally or his business are, by any stretch of the imagination, accurate. Mr. Sherman does not even have a son! Further, contrary to "Jason's" latest missive, Mr. Sherman and I did, in fact, visit Fort Dix to confront "Jason." The Fort Dix Police Department assisted us and actually visited the address provided by "Jason." No one lives at that address. The home has been vacant for quite some time. We believe that "Jason" is actually an individual who purchased a former business from Mr. Sherman and is frustrated at his inability to be as successful as Mr. Sherman was with that business. It is a shame that he must resort to such childish, immature antics designed solely for the purpose of maligning and embarrassing my clients, and interfering with his business endeavors. Formal complaints have been filed with the Fort Dix Police Department and the Freehold Township Police Department. We have also notified the federal authorities who are now, through an IP search, confirming our suspicions regarding Jason's" true identify. Mr. Sherman intends to prosecute any and all viable charges to the fullest extent possible. People like "Jason," who hide behind apparent anonymity must be taught that this type of conduct will not be tolerated and that, ultimately, they will be held accountable for their actions. after reading these posts I fail to see where the original poster threatened your life. A terroristic threat is a threat against your life or property. What he posted could be interpreted in several ways. He stated it is a threat but he didn't threaten your life or property. My husbands brother is in the army right now. I understand if your a civilian you have to go through a civilian agency. The military police don't take complaints without proof. If the house was empty, theres no one there to file a complaint against. sorry to say this but you have a bad track record on here. How can you explain all these accusations of failing to issue refunds and false tracking numbers? You should do the best you can to get out of this hole your in and make the customers are happy. Remember the old age addage 'the customer is number one.' If you cared about them you woulnt take 2 months to ship a jacket, or give them the run around. It never ceases to amaze me the extent a company will go to rip off customers and try to cover the tracks left behind. This site is amusing and this particular post is no exception. Customers and people, We at Just Leather are floored by this complaint that was made to us. We took the liberty of going to Fort Dix today and visit with Department of Defence Police which is on base. They sent a car out to this individual where he supposedly resides and the house is empty. This person does not reside there. We have made formal harrassment charges as well as terroristic threat charges against this individual with the local and on base police Department Lt. We than left and went to Freehold Township Police Department and filed the same complaint with them. These both departments will find this individual no matter what. This is a disgruntled individual whom we apologize for. If there is any questions on any matter please dont hesitate to call at 732-294-0068. We have placed our number on this site on so many different occassions. We would like for anyone who has any issues to please come forward and call us. We are working with army personel from Fort Dix as well as local Detectives. Again please feel free to call us with any issues.
