I spoke with Pam Wolf again and they admitted that there had been a screw-up by their fulfillment house, Continental Promotions. I told her how much time and phone calling I had done and needed to be reimbursed for that aggravation. She sent a check only for the rebate and said they could not pay the $30 additional demanded. Now because I have to spend even more time and make even more phone calls, I will need $20 more, plus 20% for inconvenience (interest lost, etc.), totalling $60. The longer this takes and the more time and effort I put into this, the more I will need to demand. I also need to point out that the Better Business Bureau has given MathSoft an UNFAVORABLE rating for not answering complaints. Check out my Rip-Off Report on Continental Promotions.

I have made a couple of calls to the Fulfillment House and to MathSoft, Pamela Wolf, (617) 444-8000 x8066, FAX (617) 444-8001, who said she would look into the matter and get back to me. No call back to date. I have spent quite a bit of money on calls and tracking down the Fulfillment House, which fraudulently witholds legitimate rebates so they can hold on to the money given them by the company.
As of February 18, 2001, I want to be reimbursed $58 as long as I don't have to make another phone call. My losses increase as time goes on.
