I was visiting Dallas during Thanksgiving. I called Massage Heights to enquire on services, prices etc. The receptionist suggested that she has a slot for 6:30 pm that evening and she can hold it for me and give me a new customer discount of $49.99. I was supposed to call back within the hour to confirm the appointment. I got stuck in traffic. I called them and there was no response. I could not try again.
They charged me $49.99 on my credit card. I was told during one of follow-up calls this week that there is a 50% charge for non-cancellation within 24 hrs. This was never mentioned to me or I would NEVER have given my credit card for an appointment 2 hours away unless I was very sure.
She asked me to call back to confirm, so I assumed that not calling = not confirming the appointment.
I have been calling every day for the past week. I spoke with Heidi, Lou and assistant managers, Melissa and Tony. All of them said I need to speak with the manager, Nury. I left messages with call back number every day. They either say that I just missed him or that he is not in until later in the evening. They gave me his email address and I sent him a detailed email – no response to my email either. It is obvious that they are ignoring me.
I guess I was wrong to expect a little more professionalism and decency.
