Marvin doors and windows doesn't stand behind their products
Five years ago my wife and I remodled out kitchen. We had a contractor install a Marvin Ultramat French door. We purchased the door from Gregories Supply in Plattsburg New York off his floor that was being remodled. This door was set up as a display. We asked about the warranty and were told that it came with a full warranty.
The door is now falling apart and we called to have a service rep come and inspect it in order to get replacement. To our surprise the rep told us that the door was shot and wasn't covered by warranty because it was a display item. When he was asked what the differance was he became very offensive and said the bottom line is it's not covered. This door retails for about $2400.
Upon contacting Gregories Supply they tell me that it's the same door that they used to sell out of the warehouse but they no longer handle Marvin products, and you guessed it, because of the poor service Marvin has with the warranty.

notice that nowhere does it say excluding desplay items.
I now have a door that is no good and nobody to go to to get my door replaced.
State Attorney Generals Office and my attorney are being notified and legal action will follow.
