We had arranged to buy a puppy from MAK Boston's although there websites looked great and were in formtive - thety were hard to get ahold of and respond to emails.

Once I picked up my puppy she had red weepy eys and a hernia, they dropped her off and gave me all her papers then left in a hurry. The puppy was never healthy right from the start, had problems with throwing up and gaining weight then at 6 months she developed a serious congenital condition with her neck/back and spine, lost most of her mobility in her hind legs and falls over regularily - can't walk up or down stairs. $2200 for an MRI to diagnose a condition that cant be treated. When i contacted the breaders to let them know and wondered if any of the litter mates had similar problems, I got no response, after the 3rd email to them I finally had the response -"thats so sad, let us know how it goes."

No offer to help. I told them it was definatly a birth defect issue and my vet said that neither the mother(pixie) or father (smokie) should be bred, they said the mom was retired. We were so dissapointed with their level of care or interest for their dogs, never asked any questions. Our vet has said that a reputable breader would have noticed immdeidatly that something was not right with our Boston and never should have sold a sickly dog. Reputable breaders would have held on to her for at least a year to make sure no problems arose with her development.

Our dog is only 1.5 but can not go for walks, can not climb up or down stairs, and has developed cateracks in both eyes. Her hind legs have atriphied, and she is very wobbley on them.

Hi,

Nice to hear from you!  I'm sorry you are having issues with someone spreading rumors.  Rest assured, Nemo is a perfectly happy, healthy, awesome little guy!  We have had no issues or concerns with him or his health whatsoever.  I have attached a couple recent pictures of him - he is doing great.  He is a very sweet boy who loves nothing more than to snuggle himself underneath your blankets and snooze lol.

If I had any concerns about his health I would certainly reach out to you directly, and would never post rumors etc. online.  (Who has the time for these things?!)

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any futher info.  I hope you are well otherwise!

 Take Care,

Yeh no prob. Seems a bit suss to me.. Hope things work out though. I would be more then happy to buy another dog off you because of my girls good quality. ( ;

I could go on and keep adding referances like this from people that  have Pixie Smokie puppies.

If you have a boston that is puking rest asure it's more common than you realize in the breed. Smokie and Pixie are not puker and we wanted to share this. Smokie has gone onto become a certified pet therapy dog. He would not be able to go into a senior centres or schools if he was puking up.

I found a couple links to sites that talk about Bostons and puking. It's normally from eating or drinking to much to fast. Or after eating some foods or treats that don't agree with them. Bostons also like to lick and often ingest materical they shouldn't. Like grass, pine needles, fuzz, dirt etc

If you have a boston terrier that pukes, make sure they are dewormed and are eating smaller meals. Research the internet their are many sites that share other peopels success stores to help stop the puking.

Subject: Two JHC clear dogs tested through you are being said to have produced a cataract puppy

Here is the response, (*****)

Ann

VetGen Customer Service

[email protected]

Ann,

The lab staff has reviewed the results for AK Pixie and AK Smokie Bear, and has confirmed the “Clear” JHC test results for both dogs.  These animals were sequence-tested, our most rigorous testing method.  We stand by these results without qualification.

Description of JHC

Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts (HSF4)

Description:

Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts (JHC) are a clouding of the lens of the eye caused by a breakdown of tissue in the eye. This condition generally results in an inability to see clearly and can cause total blindness. In canines, cataracts are often familial; this type is known as Hereditary Cataracts. A mutation in the HSF4 gene causes this type of cataracts in several breeds of dogs. In this case, the dog is typically affected bilaterally, in that both eyes are affected by the cataracts. The cataracts associated with HSF4 also occur in the posterior region of the lens. They usually start by being small and grow progressively, though the speed of growth is highly variable. Some cataracts will grow so slowly that the dog's vision remains relatively clear, while others will grow such a way that the dog will quickly go blind. Corrective surgery is possible, though it is costly and is not always effective.

One HSF4 mutation causes the recessive form of Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts in Boston Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and French Bulldogs. Because it is recessive, a dog must have two copies of this mutation to experience this form of cataracts. This mutation is only responsible for early-onset hereditary cataracts, which typically occur between 12 months and 3 years of age in Staffordshires, and between 2-3 years in Boston Terriers. Boston Terriers can also be afflicted by late-onset hereditary cataracts; however, the HSF4 gene mutation is not responsible for that particular form of cataracts. The causative gene for Late-onset Hereditary Cataracts in Boston Terriers has not been determined at this time..

It should also be noted that not all cataracts are hereditary. Cataracts can also be caused by old age or injury. Also, cataracts that occur in different regions of the lens can also be familial, however, are not attributed to this gene mutation.

Testing is Relevant For the Following Breeds:

Boston Terriers

French Bulldogs

Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Results:

Animal Genetics offers DNA testing for recessive JHC allele. The genetic test verifies the presence of the mutation and presents results as one of the following:

JHC/JHC Affected The dog carries two copies of the mutant gene and is homozygous for Hereditary Cataracts. The dog is affected by HSF4-Hereditary Cataracts, and will always pass on a copy of the mutated gene to its offspring.
JHC/n Carrier Both the normal and mutant copies of the HSF4 gene detected. Dog is a carrier for Hereditary Cataracts, and can pass on a copy of the defective gene to any offspring.
n/n Clear Dog tested negative for the HSF4 Hereditary Cataract gene mutation, and will not pass on the defective gene to its offspring.

This speaks for it's self that this claim of Mak Bostons producing a blind dog is made up and false.

The picture of this blind dog looks to be very sick and should be taken to a vet clinic and undergo extensive testing. Not regular bloodwork.  It looks like it's suffering from liver failure or acute digestive issues and is not absorbing nutrients. Starved puppies need nutrients to properly grow and develop. Without them joints, eyes and more cannot develop properly.  There are so many pet foods out there that have caused dogs to become sick (read about Nutro) and pesticides that have caused dog to have seizures and more.

Please stop trying to put blame onto others and focus your time on trying to help this poor dog. If your dog is suffering and you cannot afford to offer proper care you

need to consider surrendering her to the Boston Terrier Rescue. Or another rescue organization that can help her get the eye surgery needed to save her vision.

OR Look at starting a fund raiser to get the surgery for his or her eyes.

There is also this condition

What is Cryptococcus?

Cryptococcus is a microscopic yeast (yeasts belong to same group as fungus, mould, and

mushrooms). A variety of this fungus, Cryptococcus gattii, has been responsible for

causing disease in humans and animals in British Columbia since 1999. Cryptococcus

gattii has been found living in trees and soil, particularly along the East coast of

Vancouver Island.

What is cryptococcal disease?

Cryptococcal disease is a rare but treatable fungal infection that is caused by the yeast

Cryptococcus. The route of infection is through breathing the microscopic yeast into the

lungs. Once in the lungs the organism can cause pneumonia, or form nodules which can

be seen in X-rays. More rarely, Cryptococcus can also infect the central nervous system

causing potentially fatal meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain). Other

animals are susceptible to cryptococcal disease. In British Columbia, cases of

cryptococcosis have been identified in: cats, dogs, ferrets, cockatiels, parrots, llamas, a

horse, and dolphins.

I'm not sure where you are located if this helps at all or not.

Many people have realized that not everything is genetic but only after a vet has given them bad advise or told them it's genetic when it's not!!. Vets are so quick to say genetic genetic genetic. I can tell you when clients are asking why or how to a vet over medical concerns as soon as the vet says genetic people are then content and stop asking questions.

If you went into a Dr's  office and said why am I getting these rashes and getting so tired.  The Dr says genetic your getting older and that's normal. Would you just accept it? or would you look at the new cream you just bought or the spray that your landlord just treated your flower garden with. Would you consider what your eating your body can't handle and it's making you sick. Would you investigate when it started, and see what was happening in your life? or would you just blame your parents.

Open your mind and look for other possibilities.

Well VetGen proved this is not genetic and is impossible for Smokie and Pixie to produce this.

I would also like to note that all Pixies puppies were picked up at her previous owners home. Never dropped off. The puppies I had with her where shipped with either west jet or air canada or picked up in person. No puppies were ever dropped off from Pixies litter.

I would also like to note, working in a vet clinic I have seen several dogs with a wobble or spine injury caused by a fall. The puppy was dropped. The puppy jumped out of the owners arms to get onto the couch and missed. Another jumped off the bed and did a face plow into the group and injured the neck and front shoulder. Another dog got a door shut on his head, caused him to walk with his head tilted side ways for months. I have also seen leg injuries from dogs slipping on ice, dogs playing at the dog park and having another dog plow into their sides. I have seen dog sport injuries. Dogs can get injures that is normal. Please be aware leg and spine injuries happen and it's not genetic.

We have been contacted back by the people that have bought Pixies puppies and will be posting their comments shortly.

M Bostons

Saskatchewan,
I'm sorry but your mistaken that Mak Bostons sold you your puppy

#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, November 17, 2014

As the owner of Mak Boston I wanted to say I’m sorry that you’re experiencing problems with your Boston Terrier, my heart goes out to you and your boston.

Mak B. strives to produce top quality colored bostons. To ensure we produce healthy bostons we do everything in our power to achieve this.  We make sure all our dogs are fully health tested and passed. We raise them in a safe and clean environment. We only breed from registered dogs where we can see the pedigree to make sure they are not related. We make sure they meet our strict temperament testing. No aggression hyperness or behavioural problems. We have been told by countless people and vets they wish more breeders were like us.

We can’t be held responsible for injuries after the puppy has left us, for example a puppy jumping from the couch at a young age and causing a leg or back injury. This can happen and I can tell you it does more than you can imagine. I have seen it firsthand working at a vet clinic. eg a lady came into the vet clinic with her dog who was having diarrhea, the lady said the dog hadn’t got into anything.  The vet suggested a list of tests, blood work and more.  Once all the tests were done and everything came back normal the vet then suggested possibly she ate something bad? A bad bag of dog food the vet suggested vet approved dog food for gastro problems. She really didn’t know what could have caused the diarrhea. She said it’s the number one reason people bring in their pets to the vets next to vaccines and spay and neutering. As the lady picked up her dog and placed him on the floor she said to him I guess it could have been the left over steak my husband gave him. The vet and I looked at each other, the vet said YES. Sometimes people think the worse when it’s not the case. Sometimes its the owner’s error that caused the injury and sickness and not the breeders fault at all. I have seen dogs slip on ice, wet floors, other dogs running into them, getting spayed or neutered to young that have resulted in joint problems, this again is not the breeders fault. A breeder can’t prevent these from happening once the puppy has left.

Often vets are quick to diagnose and if you’re concerned they will give your dog a set of antibiotics just to make sure that nothing is wrong. Vets fresh out of vet school with no experience can practice in a clinic. I have seen a vet with 4 months of schooling diagnosing dogs, telling an owner his dog that was coughing and sneezing didn't have kennel cough  but it needed  800 dollars worth of dental work for mild tartor. That dental disease is the cause to the sneezing. I had just told the owner on the phone before he came in that I saw a dog like his two weeks ago in the area with kennel cough with the same symptoms. He looked over at me and I couldn’t say anything. This dog recovered in 10 days which is the normal recover time for kennel cough, and he had booked the dental to two days later call in and cancel it. People need to find vets that are fully graduated and have over 5 years clinical experience. This vet liked animals but had no experience with dogs prior to becoming a vet.   People are now starting to question drs and look for alternative healing but do not question vets for some reason.  Vets are people too that make errors also.

Back to the claim about a sick puppy with cataracts.

I have never been contacted over any of these concerns and I am not sure who you’re emailing? We have never sold a sick puppy and have vet records to all our puppies proving they were healthy and approved to go to their new homes.

I can tell you that I sold Pixie back in 2011 and did not get her back until late 2013.  The lady that bought her did two litters with her before I bought her back. I did list the litters for sale on a separate page for Pixie as a favour for her as she didn’t have a web site. The web site clearly stated she was not owned by Mak Bostons.

I am also aware of a scammer that was sending people to my site, claiming her puppies were out of my dogs, when in fact they were not.  I am not saying this is what happened but people need to be aware that not everything is what it may appear to be.

I can tell you that Mak Bostons has never sold a pet boston terrier for $1500, that this statement is false and leads me to wonder who you really purchased a puppy from.  I know of a few other colored breeders that sell their puppies for this amount, and are located on the island and lower mainland.  We do not believe in charging such a high price for a pet boston and have always stood behind that belief.

I know it's easy for people to say they are someone other than themselves when they are on the internet. That is why identity fraud is so high. I am concerned that you have been scammed by someone that was not Mak Bostons.

I know there are a few large commercial breeders in Alberta and in the USA that have people selling their dogs in BC Canada. They steal the identity to other breeders and refer people to their web sites claiming that their dogs are from dogs listed on the site. This would probably explain why they never got back to you as someone scammed you and they have moved on.

I can tell you that Mak B email is still up and running and if at any time you tried to contact us, we would have responded with in a 24 to 48 hour period and addressed your concerns and more. I’m sorry whoever you tried to contact did not return your emails or address your concerns, I’m sure that would have made you feel unheard, used, and angry.  You can also consider and not rule out human error, typo’s in email addresses etc.  can send emails into cyber space.

We love our bostons as they are like our children and go everywhere with us, we baby sit past puppies and chat daily with many new and past owners. Bostons are our life, and we truly have a passion for them. I also have extensive experience working in a vet clinic and would never brush anyone off if they contacted us with a concern. I have also worked for many years as a pet industry manager and can tell you  I do not dismiss anyone’s concerns.  I can tell you who ever you dealt with was NOT me and I’m sorry they didn’t address your concerns promptly and to your satisfaction.

I was contacted in Sept about a past Pixie puppy to ask for health testing results on Pixie. This lady that owns the puppy does not live in BC or didn’t buy a pixie puppy from BC or like the claim states. I never produced any puppies from Pixie while living in BC. This proves to me that Mak Bostons in fact did not produce this puppy.

The only other people that have contacted us are people wanting a second puppy or to give us updates on how wonderful their puppies are.

Subject: Hi there

Hi, I bought a lilac boston from you last year in may(sweet Lilly), I'm just wondering if you can give me some previous information on her mother "pixie" and can send me a photo of her. I wanna make a history book for myself that's got all my dogs history on it(kinda like a family tree). So yeh any chance you can let me know if she was cleared for health problems like your other dogs, how much pixie weighed and a picture if it’s not too much to ask. I thought I would let you know we adore her, we couldn’t off ask for a better boston. She was so easy to house train, I could tell you had done a lot of work with her. She is very gentle and exactly what you said she would be like. Our vet said she is in excellent health and to tell you to keep up the good work. I will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. You have been so good to us with all our endless questions.

NUMBER TWO:

Hi

We just wanted to let you know how Beau is doing. He is the most amazing boy ever, he is my sons best friend and follows him everywhere. We don’t have a fenced yard because of being on a farm and he is such a loyal dog he sticks around and does not wonder off. I could not have asked for a better dog.  He is mellow and great with children exactly what I was hoping for. The vets said he has excellent health and discussed a date to get him neutered.   We are hoping for another boston soon and would love to get another one from you. You have been amazing to deal with, I look forward to seeing what the future brings. Thank you again for being such an upfront amazing person and breeding such amazing Boston Terriers.

I can go on to list many people that have all had wonderful experiences and can be character witnesses that this person you’re describing was not in fact the owner of Mak Bostons.

I wanted to bring up your pictures showing cataracts in your boston terrier. The fact that your dog has cataracts (which I’m assuming your vet diagnosed) only proves that they are not from Pixie or Smokie as they genetically cannot produce JHC. Pixie and Smokie are DNA tested Clear for the Cataract gene. Meaning they cannot produce a puppy ever with cataracts. This claim that this dog has cataract and is  out of these two dogs is false and scientifically proven to be false. All our dogs are DNA tested clear for this disorder.

Mak Bostons also offers a health guarantee that covers any health problems that might turn up in the first year of the pups life that makes the pet not suitable as a pet etc.   We stand behind our dogs 100% and that is why we offer a written guarantee and pet insurance.  Our puppies come with a 6 week free pet insurance.

You never speak of this? Another reason your claim does not add up, and leads me to believe you did not buy a puppy from Mak Bostons but maybe from someone else?  As you don’t disclose who you are it is impossible to check our records to see if you bought a dog from us and since we have never been contacted it only confirms you’re not contacting us but someone else over your dog.

I was only trying to help new breeders or people advertise their puppies through my site. like Kijiji and google etc. I had offered a page for others to post their puppies for sale and stated on that page that they were not owned by Mak Bostons.  I never had intended for anyone to buy a puppy from those people which could have been sick or would have had any health problems. I was told by these people that their dogs were healthy and vet checked.  As a kind and trusting person I was only trying to help list other Boston Terrier puppies. I love this breed and support breeding Bostons and the continued effort to keep this breed a live and going today.

I would like to apologize to anyone that might have been scammed by someone who claimed to be Mak Bostons, or any one that bought a puppy from someone we had linked off our site. I wish someone had contacted me about any of these concerns. Only by knowing of the problem could we have been able to address the concern.

After reading this I contacted the lady that used to own Pixie and she informed me of a lady in Victoria that bought one of her puppies that did have a past eye injury. This puppy was not out of Pixie but another dog she owned named Pepper and was also DNA tested clear for cataracts. They were told about it before hand and wanted her anyways.  The owner was described as a lady with anxiety and full of worry, due to inexperience with dogs.

I was told that this lady was offered a refund in full on the discounted price which she paid. The original adoption fee  went towards covering the vet bills to treat her eye injury which was caused by another puppy scratching it. The lady accepted it and also kept the dog. She got a free dog to care for and refused to return the dog, she accepted full responsibility to care for and love this Boston no matter what. She was never heard from again. Leaving Pixies and Peppers owner at that time to assume all was good and she was doing great.

Pixies owner did the responsible thing and offered this puppy a home for free, and in return they are slandering her for doing so??? if this is who you are as you didn't come clean and sign your name.  If this is the cause it’s defamation of character towards Mak Bostons by taking direct action to tell people and spread the word about sick or injured puppies not produced by Mak Bostons. This is grounds for a law suit, and Mak Bostons will be looking into the owner of this puppy and will be investigating this matter. I hope that this lady’s anxiety did not get her worked up and so worried that she is now lashing out but it will be investigated.

I would like to state this:

  • People need to stop blaming others for their internal feeling of anger, sadness or the feeling that they need to inflict judgment onto others because someone judged them and they felt they were wronged.
  • Attacking others to make them self-feel better only creates a world of haters and why internet bulling in up 800%. It will not deal with the pain that is carried by you, only you can release and forgive who every wronged you and look forward to the future in a positive light. (You got a free dog that needed someone to care for her and love. Think about the joy she has brought into your life and how thankful she is that she has you to care for her.  Count your blessings and stop pointing fingers.)

Attacking others and wanting to harm and inflict pain judgement and suffering onto others clearly shows you are dealing with past trauma from life. Only you can change your life and it’s time to sit back and let go of what your holding onto that makes you feel the need to do this. I can tell you as a spiritual teacher a very down to earth very caring person we do not do business like this or treat people in this manner it is against our belief and practises. I can give pages of references to who I am as a person and people that have adopted dogs through me.

I wish you the strength to look inwards to let go of who every judged you, a boyfriend husband father mother, employer or past student I don’t know but it’s time to let go. Holding onto such hate creates sickness in mind and body. Whoever hurt you emotionally and physically tell yourself you’re a survivor and you’re ok it's time to move on. Release your anger your hurt to the heavens and ask for the healing light to fill your body. Keep doing this, as the hurt is like an onion you release one layer one hurt and there is many other layers to deal with. If you need to release and cry do so, it’s your body trying to release and heal. When you feel your self starting to fret and think about how you wanted this or that and it didn’t go your way, right down your blessings in that experience and forgive who you are angry about see their point of view and what was the out come either way. Sometimes things happen in life because you asked for it, you wanted someone to care for and love and you got just that. Sometimes if you push things and it does not happen it’s just not the right time or your ment to do something different. Living in the past does not create the steps to a brighter new future.

On this note, to make this plain and simple you have mistaken these dogs to be in fact from Mak Bostons. I'm sorry for your confusion.

I just wanted to let you know the original filed report was not a rival breeder or breeder hater or a coloured boston hater. We actually are a family that sought you out and purchased one of your pups. I wanted people to know that the communication was poor and the level of interest from you that one of your dogs that you take pride in was not a well dog. We love her, she is a happy, but a weak and blind $1500 purebred dog, who has constant vomiting issues.  It is sad she can't enjoy a full life. but she knows no different. She has serious difficientcies and is quite limited for such a young dog. She now is developing a growth in her mouth. My report was issued as a warning for others to make sure they know what they are getting for their money and to let them know about MY experience with you when problems arose. Obviously people who had a healthy puppy where satisfied and likely had little contact after the puppy went to its new home. It's the communication and support that wasn't there for us that i wanted others to know about. I now see there is another complaint about a puppy with the same parents (Pixie and Smokie) with very similar issues as ours. It doesn't sound like this was a fluke or chance I have an ill dog. Truley hope that these dogs are no longer being bred.

Hi there,

I would very much like to get in contact with you. Bought a female pup from Mak Boston's (litter born Oct 7th/2013) from the same two dogs pixie x smokie. She constantly throws up, can't keep any water down at all. We have to give her tiny amonuts throughout the day just to keep her hydrated. Also, her back legs are giving out as well, started when she was 5 months old and is almost a year old now. She literally hobbles around on three legs all day long, alternating her back legs.

Can't take her for a walk and she just stops to lie down. I love her to pieces, she's the biggest baby ever and is so gentle and kind, especially to my kids. When were you told pixie retired? I was told in Decemeber 2013 that she was attacked and killed by a Pit Bull while out for a walk. Please, if you can, I would like to email you and talk with you a little more about this. My email address is (((redacted)))

Rip off report needs to step up and remove false reports, but rather they choice to make money off them. Please report internet bulling to the FBI cyber bulling department. When proof that a web site has  been shown documents proving the claim to be false and refuses to removed the write up should be held liable for continuing to  publish slander.

As to this false attacks on ROR, we have documents to prove this is a false made up claim to discredit Mac Bos…... That this Puppy if at all even a real dog, was not sold by Mac Bo....

As we have had some people reference buyers to Mac Bos…. claiming that our dogs are their puppy’s parents, this could be the issues. That these people were scammed by someone that stole info off of Mak Bos…  web site, sad but is a common thing that happens to millions of people. If this is the case we are sorry that someone stole info from our site and sold you a sick puppy. Dr. Oz is a huge victom to this type of crime.

As there is no picture to the blind puppy that can’t walk I’m suspecting this is just a made up attack by someone with some real hate issues for colored breeders?. (Quote to hold onto anger only hurts yourself, brings on illness and more. It is like holding onto a hot piece of coal it only burns you not others around you. Who every this person is that is writing such lies you really need to seek some help, you will feel much better healing your inner self vs making up lies and attacking others. If everyone just did one kind act a day our world would be a much better place!) Learn to love forgive and live a positive life.

OK for the claim that Pixie and Smokie produced a puppy with cataracts is completely false and genetically cannot happen!  I have provided documented proof that this is made up, showing that both dogs were DNA tested through VetGen to be clear of this gene that causes cataracts.  Both parents were tested for the Cataract gene late in 2011, and found to be clear of it.  Pixie and Smokie do not carry the GENE to produce blindness. This puppy that is suffering from cataracts genetically cannot be out of Smokie or Pixie. This is PROOF THAT SOMEONE IS MAKING UP LIES ABOUT MAK Bosto…. Dogs.

Second  Smokie and Pixie lived on Vancouver island a 1.5 years ago and Kar… the breeder does not deliver or drive much and all the puppies were picked up at her home. So this puppy was never delivered as this puppy in the report was.  This puppy could not be from Mak Bos…. All paper work is not giving at the time of pickup. Registration papers are mailed to the owner once a name is picked and the breeder gets the registration papers back from CKC, normally 3 to 4 months later. Again another false made up statement. Plus we have never sold a dog to the area where this dog is claimed to be in. People always come over to our home and sit for hours socializing and bonding with their puppies, we never hurry people along but incourage them to come by often relax and enjoy their new little one.

Third that the puppy had a hernia and red eyes, all puppies were vet checked and passed by experienced liceanced fully graduated Vet at Ladysmith Vet clinic to be healthy and free of any illness or problems. The puppy with a hernia or eye problems would have not come from Mac Bost…

Fourth the spine injury to the neck and lower spine.  Why does this person not even know what part of the spine is the problem even after an MRI? Why as it’s a fake claim? A simple $65 X-Ray will show if a vertebra is deformed which then would be a birth defect. A puppy with a spinal birth defect would have shown signs that the vet would have noticed and no signs of spinal problems were ever present while in the care of Mak Bo…. All video’s of the puppies running and playing show that no lameness has ever affected one or Mac Bos..

As to no one getting back to them is again false, as we have never received an email or phone call about a puppy with spinal problems, a hernia or red eyes. So if they were trying to contact whoever they bought the dog from it was not Mak Bost…

Also both owners to the web site do work, and are not sitting on the computer all day checking emails, pagers or txing. No job would allow an employee to do this, personally I would question any breeder that does not work.  What is the motive for them to breed their dogs? Is it to improve the breed, to breed well socialized healthy colored Bostons? or to make money to live off of?

It is impossible to return all emails and tx with in 5 min of receiving them. As we are very busy living our lives with the responsiblites of family, home, dogs, and work.  Anyone that knows us personally knows we always get back to them, if they have not heard from us then we did not get the message.

I can tell you from working at a vet clinic I have seen cases of dogs with spinal injuries and they are almost always from a puppy jumping out of the owners arms, off the couch or bed. Even from another large breed dog running into a puppy hard from the side. Accidents can cause nerve damage and injures to the spine legs and more and is not genetic.

Conclusion over this matter is clearly made up this lie, as the Proof is in the DNA test shows that SMOKIE AND PIXIE can NEVER PRODUCE A PUPPY WITH CATARCTS.

Whomever this is, another breeder, that is trying to run down the name of what they believe is their competition?   A show breeder, as they are known to hate colored breeders?, a person that  dislikes colored bostons, or simple someone that hates breeders? You really need to stop making up lies and really get involved in something that is good for yourself and others. If you are happy inside by doing good things you will stop lashing out at others, letting go of anger and forgiving is the first step to being a better happier person.

Love, Forgive, and be Positive is what we stand by
