MAJUSCULE INC. MedTech Confused employee and tricked her into agreeing to shipping products. Katy Texas
Today is 7 Aug 2018 and it was brought to my attention that one of our empoyees was tricked into agreeing to have some products delivered to our company. Of course this is not something that is new to the health care market.
On 11 July 2018, the reciptiones recived a phone call from a gentalmen claiming to work for MedTech. He claimed that the gloves we order are cheaper now and that they can ship us the gloves. She doesn't even have ordering authority. She stated that he made it sound like we ordered from them before and he though some words in there and confused her in some way.
I am not sure when the gloves came in but MedTech sent: 1 case of High Risk Flex Vinyl Exam Gloves (Medium) for $229.00. 1 case of High Risk Flex Exam Gloves (Large) for $229.00. The glove can't even be used in our facility. On the invoice freight and handling was $18.25 x 2. Total bill $494.50 if paid before 10 Aug 2018. If not then bill will be $520.98.
I tried to call the phone number that is on the invoice and it went straight to a voice mail. It stated that I have called during there closed buisness hours. Funny thing is I called at 3:30 PM from Ohio and it was only 2:30 PM in Texas.
I left a message trying to have someone call me back to get these items sent back. If you look on the invoice it states:
COMMENTS: Merchandise not returnable without written consent and subject to a shipping and restocking charge. Items must returned 30 days after date of invoice. A late charge of 5% may be applied to invoices paid after due date. Unpaid invoices past 60 days may be subject to a 5% penalty per month. Buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney's fees and collection cost in addition to any other relief afforded to enforce collection.
So, I took my work home tonight to do some research on this company. Interesting this is the company don't even have a website. If you look on the bottom of the invoice is states:
Please be aware that the charge will appear on your statement as "MAJUSCULE. INC"
I looked up this information using that name and came across this website and others about this being a scam.
You can train and train your employees so much. Sometimes these people catch them when there guard is down and this is what happens. We will see what this outcome is. My plan for now is to keep calling everyday. Send them a certified letter stating wanting to return products and keep documentation of everything.

Well, I have been doing some homework on this company. This is my findings so far.
Company name dealing with:
MedTech AKA MAJUSCULE. Texas taxpayer #32051738972. Texas SOS File Number: 0801832919. Incorporated: 14 Aug 2013
Michael Alan Dirksen: President / Director
Michael Emoreth Arnold: Director / Secretary / Vice President
Mailing address for taxes: 1795 N. Fry RD, Ste 320 Katy, TX 77449-3347 (Note: this is a UPS store)
Invoice address: 565 S. Mason RD, Ste 484 Katy, TX 77450
Both of the guys also have another business: Sugar Valley Realty (not active), DMZ Inc (not active), IHTA Inc (not active), Falcon International Industries Inc (active)(opened 28 Jun 2012).

Address associated with company on Texas file: 1302 Longdraw Dr. Katy, TX 77494 (This is a home address) 4 beds, 3.5 baths, 3,677 sqft / built 2004. Deed was issued on 10 May 2012 to Michael Emoreth Arnold.

Now these two men have been scamming people for some time now. The company DMZ Inc was started on 22 Dec 2004. Both of these guys had another individual they ran with named Virgi Jamila Harris (name on business file). But the address associated to this business is another UPS store and 1406 Baldridge LN, Katy, TX 77494. The name on the deed for this address is Virgi J. Walker. Not sure if this is the same person but I will look into it.
But Virgi J. Harris has been assosiated with 6 other business: Extended Hand Logistical Transportation (active, started 2011), World Links Services (not active, 2008), Maximum Asset Production (not active, 2009), The Inspire Programs (not active, 2009), P.O.'s (not active, 1991), Advantix Solutions Group (not active, 2001).
If you notice the plot thickens. I will continue with my search and see were it all links together. From what I see so far these people have been scamming people for some time and it is time to put an end to it.
