Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been disputing the attached charged-off collection since 2007.  I have asked LVNV repeatedly to provide documentation to verify this debt is actually mine, which by the way it is not mine.

I have contacted everyone listed on this report and have yet to get any documentation.  I have asked LVNV to remove this from my credit since they clearly are not able or willing to provide the necessary information on this debt they need to remove this.  I have been told by them that although this is past the statute of limitations on collecting actual money that they will just leave it on my credit.  I am sorry but re-aging a collection just to be nasty and to be unwilling to fix this is wrong and they are violating my rights.

I have disputed this with all of the credit bureaus, I have written letters to LVNV for years, and I just recently contacted the attorney general’s office in South Carolina and now in Arizona.  This is ruining my life.  I have good credit, pay my bills and have no other issues.

I was told by LVNV that they do not need to provide anything to me and that all they need to do is file an affidavit with the court and sue me and that they are not going to remove it.  I told them to go ahead I would love to resolve this in court.  They also said I need to go to the police department and file a police report for identity theft..I will not do that as I have no proof of that since they will not provide me with documentation.

I have found 100’s and 100’s of complaints on rip-offreport.com, google, blogs and with several different attorney generals offices in a bunch of different states.   I have had it!!!!  This is not fair; it is violating my rights!!  I know there are laws in place to protect consumers!!!

Wondering if anyone has has any success removing this derogatory information from their credit with this scamming "company".  I have been advised by the FTC,and FDCPA that I have a solid case and it warrants getting an attorney and fighting this..now I even have damages because of this inaccurate information!
