While residing in Tucson, AZ I reponded to a Cox Communications customer satisfaction survey. Upon finishing the survey, I was told Cox Communications was providing me with a free gift for completing the survey.  There were several selections, Lunar Sleep being one of the free gift choices, the provision being that I agree to a $1.95 shipping charge paid to Lunar Sleep, which I agreed to pay.  That was back on March 26 of 2015.  I have since moved to Michigan from Tucson, and today, May 15, 2015, I receive at my Michigan address two bottles of Lunar Sleep which were forwarded to me from my former Tucson, AZ address.  Upon a quick review of my charge card account, I find I have been billed $84.99 for the months of both April and May. The bank notation was "RECURRING PAYMENT AUTHORIZED LUNAR SLEEP".  I had not authorized anything other than the $1.99 free gift initial shipping charge.  Tonight I called a customer service number at Lunar Sleep and talked with a person who identified herself as a Lunar Sleep customer care employee.  After much discussion, she said she was putting me on hold until she could resolve the issue.  I was never taken off hold and called back after perhaps waiting ten minutes or so.  The next person I talked with was a man who identified himself as "Nick".  He attempted to tell me I had agreed to the monthly shippments, and he finally agreed to give me a 30% discount on the bill.  I told him I would not be willing to pay 70% of a $169.98 charge and was going to dispute the charge with my bank and the credit card company and also get Cox Communications involved.  After this, he said he could go 50% and refund one month of the charges.  I did not agree to that either, and after further discussion, he agreed to have all charges refunded other than the initial $1.95.  The "Customer Care" people are not Lunar Sleep employees, but Nick mentioned that he was employed by a company called Alpha Connect.  I am now  waiting to actually see a credit from Lunar Sleep come through on my credit card. Hopefully that will happen soon.
