Don not ever use this company! They are the biggest joke for an engine repair place ever! I took my F150 here to get a new engine they quoted me a price of $1529.00 and since we were in a hurry to get my truck back they could have the work complete in 3-5 business days, advertise on their web site they take Visa, and before they towed my truck, David, one of the managers/employees, told me as well Visa is accepted.

After my truck being there for 2 weeks, and $2,145.00 later, I get a call my truck was ready to be picked up last Wednesday. My husband took the afternoon off on Thursday so we could drive from Northwest Fort Worth to East Dallas to get our vehicle. When we arrive, we are told that they had just found that the O2 sensors for the truck are still needing to be replaced and the Cadaladic Convertor is really loud, and we may need to have it looked at, we were told, they do not replace O2 sensors. (They can replace an engine but not the O2 sensors!?!?) They gave my husband the keys so he could go start up the truck.

Not wanting our truck to be in the shop any longer, we decide to not worry about the O2's and go have them replaced at a local shop, we get out our Visa card to pay and that is when the real trouble started!

My husband handed David the card and he asked us for our pin number to the card. This not being a debit card we tell him there is no pin number it is a credit card. Then we are told, they do not take Visa credit - only Visa debit. That they aren't set up with a merchant I.D. number for Visa, and that we could pay with a Discover, American Express, Master Card (debit only), Visa (debit only), or that they would take a personal check, though there was a sign posted "NO PERSONAL CHECKS", or we could take our Visa to the Bank and pull a cash advance and get a cashiers check off the Visa credit card we were trying to pay with, and it wouldn't be a big deal with the 24.9% interest we were going to have to pay on a cash advance, we would just need to pay it off fast.

We left, Lone Star Engine, and called my mother in law, she had another card, that she was not going to use that came with 3 introductory offer check's. These work the same way as a check. There is a $10,500.00 limit on the card the checks are linked to, they just take a little more time to clear the bank.

Because of the long drive out there, my husband took the day off work unpaid on Friday and we took them one of the checks, signed by my mother-in-law. This time we gave them the check. They ran it through tele-check and it came back-Not available for electronic withdrawl. We asked them to deposit the check in their account and call us when it cleared and that would be fine, we were told they could not do this and again, we can go cash the check and bring them cash or a cashiers check.

After being there for 30 minutes, we get in the car to leave, David came out to the car to get the keys, because we forgot to give them back on Thursday, after they gave them to my husband to make sure it was running okay. We then left, we have no other way to pay this bill other than the check or the Visa card, which again I was told they accept and is advertised on their websites, the president, which I don't know his name, told me we have 30 days to come up with a way to pay or they are sending the truck to a auction.

Also, when my mother-in-law called to find out what we can do, they told her we ran off with the keys and still have not given them back and they are worried we (my husband and I) are going to come back up ther after hours and steal the truck! She informed them she knew we gave the keys back and we were "good kids, that don't have a lot of money and have done nothing but try to pay for their services."

It is now Monday, and we still do not have our truck, I am writing all news stations and everything I can report this company to in order to let everone know what horrible business these people provide! Honestly, who does not take Visa, the #1 credit card in America!! Can we say, false advertisement?

We have delt with the same problem with them and we can not get our car back. We called our insurance company and they are going to investigate the problem because they have insurance on it and an interest in it as well. No one can drive the vehicle as long as it is at his shop. You should call your insurance co. in case something happens to your truck so you are not responsable for anything that happens.
