LIVEKINDLY Manipulative CEO forces 'contractors' to modify invoices to less hours if we want to get paid and keep our job. Vancouver BC
The CEO sends in requests and piles on tasks that we have to complete even after hitting 40 hours in a week, and then tells us overtime is not in the budget, and if we want to get paid we have to modify our time sheet to reflect untrue hours. She often tells staff that they are not loyal or dedicated enough to the company, although the vast majority give so much time and energy even off the clock to help this start up succeed.
The company is out of Canada but uses people from the U.S., Europe, and New Zealand and hires us on as contractors instead of full-time employees to circumvent tax and employment laws as well as any benefits. When myself and other staff members spoke of how we are treated, we received threatening emails from the founder that use belittling words in an attempt to silence us.
