On March 2, 2010, the price of a barrel of oil was at $79.76 when 'Consumer Comment #1' was posted at this Ripoff Report.

$113.93 - $79.76 = $34.17 increase in the price of a barrel of oil since March 2, 2010.

That's a little over a 42% increase in the price of a barrel of oil in less than 14 months!

*The price of a barrel of OIL was at $86.72 a few minutes ago. It is April 6th 2010, at about 4:28 PM EST.

The price of a barrel of OIL closed at $85 today, April 1st 2010.

I find it interesting that many Ohio cosumers have these three things in common:  JP Morgan/Chase, Litton Loan and no help from the Ohio Attorney General's office.  First of all, no one is lucky if Litton Loan has their mortgage loan or for that matter any loans at all.  Litton is one of the most fraudulent mortgage servicers around.  They have one motto:  WE TAKE YOUR HOME NO MATTER WHAT !!!!  JP Morgan is also behind this escapade.  JP Morgan has Litton Loan service their mortgages (customer's loans).  I am trouble by this because if you look on various Ohio Court House websites, Litton's mortgage holders are the majority of the foreclosures.  (that is most of the mortgages that Litton is added unfounded fees (corporate fees, insurance) (your mortgage) make up over 90% of the loans caught up in the courts.  They especially want your loan if your house is in an area of the state where home sales are up because they are making money.  Here is the problem with servicers:  They should be unconstitutional because they do not really hold the note.  The investor holds the note and therefore people who have the mortgage should be allowed to talk to the investor who is holding the note.  We were not told at signing that we could be charged extra fees and insurance because our loan may be sold to an investor who not only wants our home but wants to take our money first and to a servicer who is money hungry and is a fraud.  I went to the Ohio Attorney General's office with several problems about this only to learn that the attorney general's office actually has hired Litton to supposedly "save peoples homes by modifying loans".  This is on the website if you need to know.  I have a neighbor who is with another company (not litton or jp morgan) and he was arrested for drugs and wife beating.  He was not bringing in money, and does not have a job, yet he was able to modify his loan and stay in his home.  Another neighbor, who always paid their bills, lost their jobs and now lost their house.  How is this fair?  By the way, the family who lost their home was with litton and the bank who was foreclosing on them was JP Morgan.  They are all crooks and this is a good example.  Our government is taking our taxes and the mortgage companies and servicers are taking our homes.  When you give litton information about yourself, it is only helping with their case against you to get your home.  For instance, when a woman's home went into foreclosure she was told she would get a modification only to be held off for several weeks until the aution of her home was on the block, then she was told the modification did not go through.  It was too late for her to save her home and she lost it.  This is the tactics they play with everyone.  I actually contacted the United States Attorney Generals office and the FTC, with this problem and I am waiting to hear about what they have to say about this.  See, if you go into foreclosure your home is theirs and don't worry- not only do they make money from you but they will make money when they sell your home.  They are scum  - all of them.
