Litton Loan Servicing ripoff harassing Houston Texas
I have never been late paying Litton. My husband passed away 12/04/2003, my loan will mature on 05/01/04. All pmts were ontime with cancelled cks to prove it. Now that its time to payoff, they call several times a day harrassing claiming I am 2 months behind. After my husband passed I decided to sell my house. I applied for a bank loan, Litton had on my credit report that I missed three payments out of 300; date of origination of loan was 04/01/1979. They claims I was late 01/2003; 04/2003;07/2003..They are wrong.
I checked my online Litton statement. they are subtracting mortgage pmts and apply them as something called forbearance suspence!?.. they refused to explained this, i have never been billed any late payment charges they always apply them as reverse late pmt. My mortgage life insurance company has filed to payoff my balance since my husband's death but I am holding off until they get my balance correct. I pay 490.13 per month, so I should only owe 490.13 balance since I have already mailed April 2004 pmts. Litton owes me all my mortgage pmts from 01/2004 til maturity. I was able to get my bank loan approved for my new home, but at an higher interest rate. My credit was perfect other than Litton.
I have filed a dispute with all three major credit reporting companies that are on my credit report. I will continue with legal help.
