I RECIEVED A CAR FROM JDBYRIDER. WHEN I PURCHASED THE CAR THEY TOLD ME THAT IF A PROBLEM GOES WRONG WITH THE CAR THEY WOULD GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE. WELL MY TRANSMISSION WENT OUT FOUR TIMES AND EACH TIME I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM TO FIX IT. THE LAST TIME I GAVE IT BACK AND ASKED FOR A NEW CAR THEY LEFT ME HANGING IN THE WIND FOR OVER A MONTH WITH NO ANWSER THEY FINIALLY GAVE ME A VAN AND A WEEK LATER AT 11:45PM A TOW TRUCK PULLED UP AND STARTED TOWING MY VAN AWAY. wHEN I WENT OUTSIDE TO ASK THEM WHY THEY WERE TOWING MY VAN HE SAID TALK TO CNAC AND I COULD GET MY VAN BACK ONCE I TALKED TO THEM. SO I CALLED THE NEXT MORNING AND TIM PAPTHIEN TOLD ME THAT HE WANTED HIS VAN BACK AND HE'S TAKING THE VAn off my credit and there's nothing i can do about it and he hung up on me. i've been trying to get my van back for a week now and i've had no response.

They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: LIBS - Brooklyn Their phone number: 718-373-2400 Their relationship to the company: Supporter Rebuttal: The supposed student in question happened to meet with me and my staff on several occasions to discuss her dissatisfaction with her education at LIBS. Quite contrary to her version of the events she DID NOT approach me with a quiet attitude. She commenced yelling and screaming at me and even loomed over me and my desk with her finger pointed in my face. At this point it became apparent that I was being threatened. She proceeded to scream that I was going to do what she told me to do. I stood up and said that apparently this was not the school for her and that I would terminate her and only charge her for the hours she attended school. At first she agreed. When I went to get the termination papers and returned she again began yelling and screaming that she was not going to leave. I calmly told her that she could leave by herself or I would have to have the police escort her out. She told me to go ahead and call the police because she was not leaving. Again I told her to get out of my school. She said that she was not leaving and left my office and went into the classroom and proceeded to disrupt the classroom. I called the police who met with both of us. They concurred that at my request - the student did in fact have to leave the premises. They escorted her to her locker where she took all her quiptment and left with police in tow. Students are told what the kit cost is and have the option to purchase their own kit as long as they wear the school uniform. As for her loan - she did in fact have a loan for tuition at the school called TFC (Tuition Finance Corporation). Furthermore, she DID NOT PAY $10,000.00. The total money paid to the school was $2250.56. Additionally, we were more than generous with the student when she was EXPELLED. This particular student also had numberous disputes with office and instructional staff. In conclusion the student is practicing hairdressing in a salon in Brooklyn - WITHOUT A LICENSE - THAT'S A RIPOFF. If I did want to continue with the situation I could have reported this student and the salon to the licensing board. However I wished to put this unpleasant situation behind all involved.
