Liberty Online Services RIPOFF FRAUD SCAM business Nationwide
Like other reports I have read, we did not receive a phone call in regards to this "free" service. We received our January Qwest phone bill and was surprised to see a 30.00 some odd dollar charge from Liberty Online Services. We called Qwest and demanded an explanation, they said that it was billing from an outside company. At that time I insisted on the phone number for this company.
When speaking with a rep from Liberty we were informed that we were giving an 800 number and told that if we did not want the service that we had to call immediately and cancel...this is fine...only we never received the initial phone call!!!!
We were placed on hold for a very long period of time, when the rep returned to the line she informed me that there was nothing she could do, and that her supervisor would have to handle this. They would be contacting us in 72 hours. So I guess we'll wait the 72 hours and see where this leads!!
