We replaced all our Kitchen appliances with LG High end appliances. We got a (4) four door refrigerator, Top of line Gas Range, Microwave and Dish Washer. After about four month the Dials on the Gas Range start falling off and it limited the use of the eyes on top of the range. I called LG and was told I had to send in a copy of the Bill Of Sale. I told them that I had gone on line to LGUSA and registered all the appliances. I was told that didn't matter, I needed to send them a copy of the Bill of Sale although they were sending me solicitation to buy extended Warranties on the LG Appliances. I finally got a copy of the Bill of Sale and sent it in but Now they informed me that they would not replace the Knobs on the Gas Range because it was after thirty Days of purchase before the Knobs start falling off. I believe the Unit was damaged during shipment and we had no idea there was a problem with the range. I also was informed that the one (1) year warranty did not include the damaged parts and they will Not Freely ship us the replacement parts. I am very disappointed with LGUSA, it just goes to show that the Very expensive appliance are no better quality or warranties than the Low End Cheap appliances.

The LG service technician made a house call. He stated that the door would be replaced and he place the order. Instead of a door he received parts to rebuild the door. The technician rebuilt the door and replace the control knobs. Within a couple month the knobs melted again, I call again an was told that the stove would be replaced, it's been approximately two to three months and we cannot get up with the Technician. This was not a good decisions to purchase LG appliances. I will keep you posted!

We did the same, upgrading our refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher with LG appliances.  The ice maker in the refrigerator is junk.  The dishwasher smells horrible and after less than a year stopped drying the dishes.  We paid over $1000 for the dishwasher and we hand wash our dishes now.  It just sits there just to match the other stainless appliances.  


We will never purchase LG appliances again, they are cheap and customer service is non existent.  When we called for warranty service on the ice maker they sent a technician that simply removed and hand bent the ice tray so it was straight again.  A week later the tray was warped again and the ice maker was leaking water all over the freezer.  LG is JUNK no matter how much the salespeople say it is quality.

DO NOT BUY LG.
