I first contacted Dr Maharam in 2011 about plantar fasciitis. The doctor recommended physical therapy which was very successful.
A couple of years later I started feeling pain in the front of my foot. After seeing 4 different medical practitioners my foot was no better, At this point I contacted Dr Maharam again.
Dr Maharam is a very reputable, well respected doctor. I have had great professional service from him. All the treatment he has provided has been effective. Due to the chronic nature of the injury he recommended PRP which is expensive but I noticed significant improvement within a week.
Dr Maharam has not recommended any particular physical therapist and I am using my own.
I don't believe that Dr Maharam has overcharged in any way, quite the opposite. The cost for each visit is less than most doctors and therapists I have worked with.
I would recommend Dr Maharam to my closest friends and will continue to consult him promptly to address any future sports related injuries.

I was very hurt and shocked to see this report on the internet. I pride myself on comprehensive care. We all remember this patient quite well and the entire post is false and misleading. We spent lots of time with her, gave her home exercises, gave her a payment plan that she worked out on timing and then did not follow through on any aspect of her directed, agreed upon treatment nor the payment plan she worked out. There is no financial relationship between the physical therapy center and me. If she was confused I wish she would have spoken to me.
