I purchased a set of 235/45ZR-17 Zexius XI-326 All seasons blackwalls back in Aug of last year and they are bald in the rear!!! When they sold them, they didn't inform me that there was no mileage warranty.. And now less than 15K miles later, they want to charge me to replace them!! This is ridiculous!!! I have never heard of any tires going bad in 15K miles!! They said it must be my driving habits...

Right. Cause in the state of Washington we all drive crazy!! The best they did was offer me a 50% return fee on the price of the tires!! I am very upset with them!!!

You said you had a 45 series z rated tires. Those tires no matter where you purchase them, be it from LS or any other tire company will not come with a mileage warranty. Z rated tires are a high performance tire. Especially being a low profile 45 series, it is hard for tire manufactures to place a mileage warranty on them given the fact that they don't know how they are going to be used. Still, with proper rotation, vehicle alignment, and air pressure, you can can get quite a few miles out of them. Plus, it also depends on the brand of tire. Some tires are built better than others. You can't by the least expensive tire and expect to get the same miles that you would get on the top of the line brands. I really don't know your whole situation, so I can't say whether you or the LS store is in the wrong so I won't try to place the blame on anyone. They should have told you that the majority of low profile, z rated tires do not come with any mileage warranty but they are still covered by the LS service warranty.

I am an ase L1 master tech with over 35 years in this business I remember when we would have to stop working on cars to go out and pump gas and clean windshields! I can't tell you how many blatant rip offs I've seen from LS over the years and good vehicles turn into junk, good people being brainwashed both the public and LS employees. LS is a cross between the mafia and a cult they bully their suppliers and the media they hire the best marketing your (stolen) money can buy by selling you garbage parts, tires, batteries, for more than original equipment, to gain your confidence all they need to do is a few simple freebees and their wonderful! When it comes to warrenty either your car caused the problem or you must have been doing burnouts or something to that effect, LS doesn't hire professional technicians they want young people they can brainwash to sell and make excuses with confidence , LS has focused on low tech high consumables like tires and brakes so they don't need professionally trained technicians. example, my sons car was at LS to be aligned it also needed an alternator that I had ordered for it the car had a brand new battery, they insisted on replacing it with one of theirs when I told them it didn't need a battery the actually got angry I told them don't touch the car we'll be over to get it! another example is a new customer asked me to determine the cause of a terrible noise in his truck while driving he was told by LS that he needed wheel bearings and the whole suspension rebuilt at a cost of $2500.00 I inspected it and found nothing wrong with any of it the problem was the LS open country tires that cup severely on any thing I've seen them on! he replace the tires with a good tire and it drove like a new truck! I'm sure they would have told him after spending $2500.00 on it and the problem was still there that his truck destroyed there junk tires, I could go on and on and on, It angers me when the honest technicians of my profession have to battle the brainwashing of the public it makes it difficult for them to know who's actually trying to do their best to help them.
